Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mudharabah financing, musyarakah financing, ijarah financing, murabahah financing, istishna’ financing, and inflation on the profitability of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) before and after the merger. Profitability in this study is measured by Return On Asset (ROA). The sample obtained in this study is the monthly financial statements of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) before the merger in the 2018-2020 period and after the merger in the 2021-2023 period, as well as inflation data for the 2018-2023 period. This type of research is quantitative and comparative research because this study will compare the effect of bank financing and inflation on BSI profitability before and after the merger. The data analysis technique used in this study is time series regression and data processing this study uses Microsoft Excel and E-views 12 analysis tools. The results stated that mudharabah financing had a positive effect on BSI profitability before the merger, musyarakah financing, ijarah, murabahah, istishna’, and inflation did not affect profitability. Meanwhile, in the period after the merger, musyarakah financing and inflation had a positive effect on profitability, murabahah and istishna’ financing had a negative effect on profitability, while ijarah financing did not affect profitability.

| Additional Information: | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pembiayaan mudharabah, pembiayaan musyarakah, pembiayaan ijarah, pembiayaan murabahah, pembiayaan istishna’, dan inflasi terhadap profitabilitas Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) sebelum dan setelah merger. Profitabilitas dalam penelitian ini diukur dengan Return On Asset (ROA). Adapun sampel yang didapat dalam penelitian ini yaitu laporan keuangan bulanan Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) sebelum merger di periode 2018-2020 dan setelah merger di periode 2021-2023, serta data inflasi periode 2018-2023. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan komparatif, dikarenakan penelitian ini akan membandingkan pengaruh pembiayaan bank dan inflasi terhadap profitabilitas BSI sebelum dan setelah merger. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan regresi time series dan pengolahan data penelitian ini menggunakan Microsoft Excel dan alat analisis E-views 12. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa pembiayaan mudharabah berpengaruh positif terhadap profitabilitas BSI sebelum merger, pembiayaan musyarakah, ijarah, murabahah, istishna’, dan inflasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas. Sementara itu, pada periode setelah merger, pembiayaan musyarakah dan inflasi berpengaruh positif terhadap profitabilitas, pembiayaan murabahah dan istishna’ berpengaruh negatif terhadap profitabilitas, sedangkan pembiayaan mudharabah dan pembiayaan ijarah tidak berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas. | |||||||||
