Abstract
It is estimated that there are 156 million new ISPA cases in the world per year and 96.7% occur in developing countries. ARI is the entry of microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, rickettsia) into the respiratory tract which causes symptoms of disease that can last for 14 days. ISPA can infect anyone, especially children under five years of age who are the group most vulnerable to this disease. (Hartono and Dwi, 2017). Ineffective airway clearance is when a person cannot remove fluid or foreign objects from the airway properly, making the airway difficult to pass. (Ginting, 2010 in Apriliani, DM, & Cahyaningrum, ED. 2022). Inhalation therapy is administering medication by inhalation or inhalation in the form of an aerosol and directly into the respiratory tract. This nebulizer therapy has the aims of: Facilitating the respiratory tract, suppressing the inflammatory process, diluting and making it easier to expel secretions, moisturizing the respiratory tract. The aim of this case study research is to determine care with ineffective airway clearance problems in ARI patients. The research method used was to explore the problem of protection in two ISPA patients by clearing the airway ineffectively by administering an inhalation nebulizer at the Banten Provincial Regional Hospital. The results of this study showed that both patients experienced a decrease in secretions after administering nebulizer inhalation. The conclusion of this study is that administering an inhalation nebulizer can overcome the problem of ineffective airway iron in ARI patients.

| Additional Information: | Diperkirakan ada 156 juta kasus baru ISPA tiap tahun di seluruh dunia, dengan 96,7% dialami di negara berkembang. ISPA ialah infeksi saluran pernapasan akibat mikroorganisme (bakteri, virus, riketsia) yang membuat gejala hingga 14 hari. Penyakit ini bisa menginfeksi siapa saja, terutama anak-anak berumur < 5 tahun yang menjadi kelompok paling rentan (Hartono dan Dwi, 2017). Bersihan jalan nafas tidak efektif ialah ketika seseorang tidak dapat mengeluarkan cairan atau benda asing dari saluran nafas dengan baik sehingga membuat jalur nafas sulit dilewati. (Ginting, 2010 dalam Apriliani, DM, & Cahyaningrum, ED. 2022). Terapi inhalasi ialah memberi obat secara hirupan atau yang berbentuk bentuk aerosol dan langsung menuju pada saluran pernapasan, terapi nebulizer ini mempunyai tujuan yakni: Melancarkan jalan nafas, Menekan proses peradangan, Mengencerkan dan memudahkan pengeluran secret, Melembabkan saluran pernafasan. Studi ini tujuannya guna mencari tahu asuhan keperawatan dengan masalah bersihan jalan nafas tidak efektif pada pasien ISPA. Metode penelitian yang dipakai ialah untuk mengeksplor masalah asuhan keperawatan pada kedua pasien ISPA dengan bersihan jalan nafas tidak efektif dengan tindakan pemberian inhalasi nebulizer di RSUD Provinsi Banten. Hasil di studi ini memperlihatkan kedua pasien alami penurunan penumpukan sekret sesudah dilakukan tindakan pemberian inhalasi nebulizer. Kesimpulan di studi ini pemberian inhalasi nebulizer dapat atasi persoalan besihan jalan napas tidak efektif pada pasien ISPA. | |||||||||
