Abstract

This research is a developmental study aimed at (1) developing a green chemistry-based chemistry laboratory guide on the production of biosensors from Dragon Fruit and Roselle extracts. (2) evaluating the suitability and usefulness of the developed laboratory guide. The research design follows the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The research participants consist of 17 SMAN 6 Serang City students class of chemistry-1. Data were collected through expert validation sheets analyzed using the Aikens V formula to assess the suitability of the developed laboratory guide. In addition, a student response questionnaire was used to assess the usefulness of the laboratory guide. The results of the expert validity test show that the developed laboratory guide has an average V value of 0.93 for media experts and 0.92 for subject matter experts, indicating the suitability of the laboratory guide for use. Furthermore, the usefulness level of the laboratory guide based on student responses is 91,2%, indicating that the laboratory guide can be considered very practical. Thus, based on this data, it can be concluded that the green chemistry-based chemistry laboratory guide on biosensors from Dragon Fruit and Roselle extracts that has been developed is both suitable and very practical for use in the learning process.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah studi pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk (1) mengembangkan penuntun praktikum kimia berbasis green chemistry mengenai pembuatan biosensor dari ekstrak Buah Naga dan Buah Senduduk. (2) mengevaluasi kecocokan dan kegunaan penuntun praktikum tersebut yang telah dikembangkan. Rancangan penelitian ini mengikuti model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 17 peserta didik SMAN 6 Kota Serang kelas Kimia-1. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar validasi ahli yang dianalisis menggunakan rumus Aikens V untuk menilai kecocokan penuntun praktikum yang dikembangkan. Selain itu, angket respons peserta didik digunakan untuk menilai kegunaan penuntun praktikum tersebut. Hasil uji validitas ahli menunjukkan bahwa penuntun praktikum yang dikembangkan memiliki nilai rata-rata V sebesar 0,93 untuk ahli media dan 0,92 untuk ahli materi, menunjukkan kecocokan penuntun praktikum tersebut untuk digunakan. Selain itu, tingkat kegunaan penuntun praktikum berdasarkan respons peserta didik adalah sebesar 91,2%, menunjukkan bahwa penuntun praktikum tersebut dapat dianggap sangat praktis. Dengan demikian, berdasarkan data tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penuntun praktikum kimia berbasis green chemistry mengenai biosensor dari ekstrak Buah Naga dan Buah Senduduk yang telah dikembangkan layak dan sangat praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.
