Abstract

Diabetic ulcers are open wounds on the surface of the skin due to macroangiopathy complications. Diabetic foot ulcers account for more patient admissions than any other diabetes complication and are currently the leading cause of non-traumatic amputations in America. Overall, around 5% of diabetes mellitus patients experience foot ulcers and 1% end in amputation. The method used in this research is descriptive research with the approaches used being the pregnancy approach, death assessment, death diagnosis, death planning, death implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects used 2 patients for 6 days with ineffective peripheral perfusion of the lower extremities in diabetic ulcer patients with range of motion (ROM) exercises at RSUD dr. Prawiranegara Degree. The results of the research showed that the range of motion (ROM) that had been carried out in patient 1 could increase peripheral perfusion of the lower extremities as indicated by increased movement of the lower extremities, warm lower extremity acral, and in patient 2 the increase in peripheral perfusion in the lower extremities had not been resolved due to This patient has not had surgery on the right lower extremity.
