Abstract

Northern Banten waters has high fishery potential, but supporting industries such as shipyards are still dominated by traditional shipyards. As an effort to improve the quality of the fishing fleet, an assessment is needed to improve skills and technology in the shipyards. This research aims to determine the technology level of traditional shipyards in Karangantu. This research was conducted in November - December 2023 at Mr. Mursalim's Shipyard located in Tanggul Jaya Village, Serang City. This research uses a case study method with a respondent selection technique using purposive sampling. The data obtained was analyzed using the technometric method by estimating the degree of sophistication, assessing the State of the Art (SOTA), determining component contributions, assessing the intensity of component contributions, and calculating TCC. The Analytical Hierarchy Process method with a pairwise comparison matrix approach was used to determine the weighting. Research results show that the contribution value of the humanware component has the highest contribution value of 0.58, the technoware component is 0.31, the orgaware component is 0.27, while the infoware component has the lowest contribution value of 0.26. Based on the results of calculations on 4 components (technoware, infoware, orgaware, and humanware) it shows a TCC value of 0.277. The conclusion of the research shows that the TCC value is relatively low so it is still included in the traditional shipyard category.

Additional Information: Perairan Utara Banten merupakan pusat penangkapan ikan yang strategis, dengan produksi mencapai 34% dari seluruh hasil tangkapan di Provinsi Banten. Pertumbuhan sektor perikanan memperkuat pentingnya industri pendukung seperti galangan kapal. Meskipun terdapat galangan kapal berbadan hukum di sekitar Karangantu, belum terdapat galangan khusus menangani kapal perikanan, yang umumnya masih dikerjakan oleh galangan kapal rakyat. Sebagai upaya peningkatan kualitas armada penangkapan, diperlukan penilaian guna meningkatkan keterampilan dan teknologi di galangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai kontribusi komponen teknologi dan mengetahui tingkat teknologi galangan kapal rakyat di Karangantu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November – Desember 2023 di Galangan Kapal milik Bapak Mursalim yang berlokasi di Desa Tanggul Jaya, Kota Serang menggunakan metode studi kasus. Penentuan responden dilakukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden yang diwawancarai dalam penelitian yaitu 1 orang pemilik galangan, 1 orang kepala tukang, dan 3 orang tukang. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan metode teknometrik dengan mengestimasi derajat kecanggihan, mengkaji State of the Art (SOTA), penentuan kontribusi komponen, pengkajian intensitas kontribusi komponen, dan perhitungan TCC. Metode Analytical Hierarchy Process dengan pendekatan matriks perbandingan berpasangan digunakan untuk menentukan pembobotan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai kontribusi komponen teknologi terbesar terdapat pada komponen humanware dengan nilai kontribusi 0,58. Selanjutnya pada urutan ke-2 dimiliki oleh komponen technoware yang memiliki nilai kontribusi sebesar 0,31. Pada urutan ke-3 terdapat komponen teknologi orgaware dengan nilai kontribusi sebesar 0,27. Dan urutan ke-4 terdapat komponen teknologi infoware dengan nilai kontribusi sebesar 0,26. Didapatkan nilai TCC sebesar 0,713 yang menunjukan bahwa galangan kapal rakyat milik Pak Mursalim termasuk dalam kriteria rendah dan tergolong galangan kapal tradisional.
