Abstract

This study aims to develop a media that can help learning geometry in high school. This study uses the research and developmet (R&D) method with the Luther-Sutopo development method which begins with initial research on student needs, conducting application design, collecting educational game building materials, starting educational game production, testing applications, and distributing applications. The subjects of this research were students of class XII-MIA-2 at SMAN 2 Rangkasbitung. The data analysis technique in this study used qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the media expert validation test fell into the "feasible" category with a value of 80%. The results of the validation test from the material expert fell into the "feasible" category with a value of 76%. Based on the results of the validation test by the math teacher, the validation test resulted in a score of 92% in the "very feasible" category and 83% in the "very good" category based on student responses. It can be concluded that the "Inditgo-Math" application is suitable for use and distribution.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah media yang dapat membantu pembelajaran geometri di Sekolah Menengah Atas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and developmet (R&D) dengan metode pengembangan Luther-Sutopo yang dimulai dengan riset awal tentang kebutuhan siswa, melakukan design aplikasi, menggumpulkan material penyusun game edukasi, memulai produksi game edukasi, uji coba aplikasi, dan pendistribusian aplikasi. Subjek penelitian ini yakni siswa kelas XII-MIA-2 di SMAN 2 Rangkasbitung. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil uji validasi ahli media masuk dalam kategori “layak” dengan nilai 80%. Hasil uji validasi dari ahli materi masuk dalam kategori “layak” dengan nilai 76%. Berdasarkan hasil uji validasi oleh guru matematika menunjukan bahwa uji validasi menghasilkan nilai 92% dengan kategori “sangat layak” dan 83% dengan kategori “sangat baik” berdasarkan respon siswa. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi “Inditgo-Math” layak untuk digunakan dan didistribusikan.
