Abstract

erang City is the capital city of Banten Province, every year there is experience population growth that sufficient increasing. That matter become one of the main factors development of traffic volume that causes traffic jam on Jendral Ahmad Yani Serang City Banten roads. The road section became main road in the city of Serang for access to cities like Jakarta city and Cilegon city other than that the road becomes infrastructure to strategic locations such as, Serang city square, Serang city government head office and Serang city police station. In the reaserch use method analysis of the Indonesian road capacity guidelines (PKJI) 2014 with the aim of research to analyze road performance, determine the level of service, and calculate in the next few years jam on Jendral Ahmad Yani Serang City Banten roads. The results of research analysis showing that for the level of service performance of urban roads, Jendral Ahmad Yani Serang City Banten roads with the function of the road that is primary road collector in 2018 not meet standard still meet standards with the level of service D which has vehicle volume value (Q) 3776,13 skr/hour, capacity value (C) of 5955,84 skr/hour and degree of saturation value of 0,634, with travel speed value of 42,5 km/hours in according to minister of transportation regulation Republic of Indonesia Number PM 96 of 2015 about about Guidelines for Implementing Traffic Management and Traffic Engineering Activities.
