Abstract

Identification and information on the genetic diversity of Cyrtosperma sp. plants need to be understood a basis for consideration in the preparation of conservation strategies, breeding, sustainable use of plant genetic resources and as a basis for the development. The research was conducted to determine the morphological characteristics and diversity of Cyrtosperma plant germplasm resulted from interspecific crosses of Cyrtsoperma macrotum and Cyrtosperma hambalii. The research was conducted in November - December 2023 using a descriptive method by collecting data of morphological characterization of Cyrtosperma sp. The results of diversity analysis among are displayed in the form of a dendrogram, and the yield of plant accessions and use principal component anlysis to determine the distinguishing characteristics of these plants. The results showed that the 30 plant samples observed in the cultivation garden of PT. BSA had a variety of morphological characters. The characteristics obtained plant height, plant width, the ratio of the longest petiole to the flower stalk, the length of the last petiole, the diameter of the base petiole, the diameter of the middle petiole, the diameter of the tip petiole, the width of the tip leaf blade, the color of the upper leaf blade, the color of the leaf blade, the edge of the leaf blade, the length of the flower stalk, the length of the spatha, and the color of the spatha. The dendrogram results show that the Cyrtosperma sp. plant germplasm is divided into 4 clusters which have an eucledian distance of 2,00 – 4,47.

Additional Information: Identifikasi dan informasi keragaman genetik tanaman Cyrtosperma sp. perlu diketahui sebagai dasar pertimbangan dalam penyusunan strategi konservasi, pemuliaan, pemanfaatan sumber daya genetik tanaman secara berkelanjutan dan sebagai dasar dalam pengembangannya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui karakter morfologi dan keragaman plasma nutfah Cyrtosperma hasil persilangan interspesifik Cyrtosperma Macrotum dan Cyrtosperma Hambalii. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan November – Desember 2023 dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan data karakterisasi morfologi Cyrtosperma sp. Hasil analisis keragaman ditampilkan dalam bentuk dendogram, dan mengunakan Principal Component Analysis untuk mengetahui karakter penciri tanaman tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 30 sampel tanaman yang diamati di kebun budidaya PT. BSA memiliki karakter morfologi yang beragam, karakter yang didapatkan yaitu tinggi tanaman, lebar tanaman, rasio tangkai daun terpanjang dengan tangkai bunga, panjang tangkai bunga terakhir, diameter tangkai daun pangkal, diameter tangkai daun tengah, diameter tangkai daun ujung, lebar helaian daun ujung, warna helaian daun atas, warna tulang daun, tepi helaian daun, panjang tangkai bunga, panjang spatha, dan warna spatha. Hasil dendogram menunjukkan bahwa plasma nutfah tanaman Cyrtosperma sp. terbagi menjadi 4 klaster yang memiliki jarak eucledian 2,00 – 4,47.
