Abstract

On October 1, the Tangerang-Merak Toll Road began using non-cash toll payments (E-toll) to facilitate the public in conducting transactions in the Tangerang-Merak toll road. Payments for tolls can be made through Automatic Toll Station (GTO) and Manual Toll Station, it is not necessary to take an Id card (KTM) at the time of transaction at the exit gate. This research aims to find out the vehicle arrival rate, service time and queue length that occurs at toll booths when making non-cash payment (E-Toll) at the East Serang toll gate. This research uses First In First Out (FIFO) queue method very often used to solve queue problems where people and / or vehicles that come first at a service facility will get the first service, collecting related data from toll road processing institution and directly survey data. The result of performance analysis and service of East Serang toll gate is not able to accommodate the vehicle can be concluded from the calculation using the service time of toll gate out (towards Serang) 10 seconds, does not fulfill the minimum service standard that is 5 seconds and entrance gate (to Jakarta and Merak) 4 second, is suitable to the minimum service standards, cause this value is 4 seconds. The length of vehicle queue of gateaway out are 111 vehicles (to Serang) and gateaway in are 16 vehicles (to Jakarta and Merak), are not fulfill the minimum standard of service which are 10 vehicles. On the gateaway in (to Jakarta and Merak) with arrival level are 890,857 vehicles/hour and gateaway out (to Serang) with arrival level are 1,038 vehicles/hour. Total arrival level every year, on 2018 are 6,400,413 vehicles/year, on 2019 are 6,691,632 vehicles/year, on 2020 are 6,996,101 vehicles/year, on 2021 are 7,314,424 vehicles/year, on 2022 are 7,647,230 vehicles/year at the East Serang toll gate, it will increase every year, so it is recommended that the number of existing toll booths be added up to 5 for the exit toll gate (to Serang) and 4 for the entrance toll gate (to Jakarta and Merak).
