Abstract
The study aims to analyze the error on the language features in writing descriptive text at seventh grade of SMP Negeri 6 Kota Serang. The problems are the kind of errors in language feature in writing descriptive text and what are the cause of errors on language features in writing descriptive text at SMP Negeri 6 Kota Serang. The result of the analysis were most of the students made misformation errors and wrote the descriptive text with bad relational process and bad developing in used of figurative language. The causes of error on the language features in writing descriptive text were the students still did not understand the pattern of English sentence in writing text and the students also still did not understand the language features of descriptive text. Students were also still do not interest and lazy to open dictionary when they did not know the meaning of the word. It makes they lack in vocabulary so they get difficulties in writing descriptive text and it also makes them do the errors on language features in writing descriptive text.
