Abstract
The ability to think creatively based on Wallas's Theory is a skill in solving problems through four stages to produce a solution. The research focuses on students' creative abilities in implementing Merdeka Belajar. This research aims to describe students' creative thinking abilities in the creative category in the application of Merdeka Belajar based on Wallas' Theory. This research is qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of this research were two students from class VII E. The instruments used are essay tests and interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques will be carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Testing the validity of the data was carried out using a credibility test in the form of technical triangulation. The research results found that the creative thinking abilities of junior high school students in the creative category in the application of Merdeka Belajar showed that students in the creative category had different understandings and solutions. The difference lies in fulfilling the stages of creative thinking based on Wallas's Theory. Therefore, based on the analysis of this research, teachers can apply Merdeka Belajar which refers to Wallas's Theory in mathematics lessons.

Additional Information: | Kemampuan berpikir kreatif berdasarkan Teori Wallas merupakan keterampilan dalam memecahkan masalah melalui empat tahapan untuk menghasilkan sebuah solusi. Penelitian berfokus pada kemampuan kreativitas siswa dalam penerapan Merdeka Belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dengan kategori kreatif pada penerapan Merdeka Belajar berdasarkan Teori Wallas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini dipilih empat siswa dari kelas VII E. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes berupa soal uraian dan instrumen non-tes berupa pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data akan dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan uji kredibilitas berupa triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP dengan kategori kreatif pada penerapan Merdeka Belajar menunjukan bahwa siswa kategori kreatif memiliki pemahaman dan cara penyelesaian yang berbeda-beda. Perbedaan terletak pada ketercapaian dalam memenuhi tahapan berpikir kreatif berdasarkan Teori Wallas. Oleh karena itu, berdasarkan analisis penelitian ini, guru dapat menerapkan Merdeka Belajar yang mengacu pada Teori Wallas dalam pelajaran matematika. | |||||||||
