Abstract

Due to the high volume of vehicular traffic difficult for pedestrians to cross, especially on one shopping center located in the city of Cilegon. Therefore, it is necessary the availability of facilities such as pedestrian crossing facilities on the area where the pedestrian is concentrated as it is in Jl. Sudirman in front of the Super Mall Cilegon. This study aims to determine the characteristics of the center pedestrian shopping supermall cilegon, assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the pedestrian bridge for pedestrians and evaluate the choice of penyberangan facilities already built. The results obtained from this study showed that the characteristics of the majority of respondents in this study were women with this type of work as an employee who has a vulnerable age between 22-60 years and educated past high school.
