Abstract

The research was conducted to determine the response of tofu liquid waste fertilizer in couraging the growth of citronella plants (Cymbopogon nardus L. Randle). This research conducted in the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, Karang Kitri, Cikuya Village, Sindangsari Village, Pabuaran District, Serang Banten Regency and further observations at the soil and Agro-climate Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa from July-November 2022. This research used factorials Randomized block design consisting of one factor, namely the concentration of tofu liquid waste fertilizer which consisted of 5 levels, namely: control, 25, 50, 75, and 100 ml, which was repated 5 times. From this research, the results showed the concentration of tofu liquid waste has no significant for all observed parameters. The type of tofu liquid waste fertilizer tends to have a better effect at the age of 14 weeks after planting (WAP), namely the parameter of plant height was a concentration of 25 ml (98,45 cm), the number of leaves was a concentration of 25 ml (61,90 strands), the number of tillers was a concentration of 25 ml (16,15 stems), leaf fresh weight concentration 25 ml (63,05 g), shoot dry weight concentration 25 ml (45,12 gr), root dry concentration 100 ml (14,62 g) and ratio of concentration 75 ml root shoots (4,19 g).

Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui respon pemberian pupuk limbah cair tahu dalam memacu pertumbuhan tanaman serai wangi (Cymbopogon nardus L. Randle). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, Karang Kitri, Desa Cikuya, Desa Sindangsari, Kecamatan Pabuaran, Kabupaten Serang Banten dan observasi lebih lanjut di Laboratorium Tanah dan Agroklimat Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa pada bulan Juli-November 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok faktorial yang terdiri dari satu faktor yaitu konsentrasi pupuk limbah cair tahu yang terdiri dari 5 taraf yaitu: kontrol, 25, 50, 75, dan 100 ml , yang diulang sebanyak 5 kali. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil yang menunjukkan konsentrasi limbah cair tahu tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap seluruh parameter yang diamati. Jenis pupuk limbah cair tahu cenderung memberikan pengaruh yang lebih baik pada umur 14 minggu setelah tanam (MST), yaitu parameter tinggi tanaman konsentrasi 25 ml (98,45 cm), jumlah daun sebanyak 25 ml (98,45 cm). konsentrasi 25 ml (61,90 helai), jumlah anakan konsentrasi 25 ml (16,15 batang), konsentrasi berat segar daun 25 ml (63,05 g), konsentrasi berat kering pucuk 25 ml (45, 12 gr), konsentrasi akar kering 100 ml (14,62 g) dan perbandingan konsentrasi tunas akar 75 ml (4,19 g).
