Abstract

Serang City is one of the supports for Banten province with various economic, industrial, agricultural and other activities that cause an increase in temperature in urban areas, or known as Surface Urban Heat Island (SUHI). The Surface Urban Heat Island (SUHI) phenomenon is a condition where urban areas are warmer than the areas around the city (rural). Based on data from BMKG, the average air temperature in the city of Serang is 27.5 ℃ so this could be related to evaporation. Evaporation is influenced by SUHI because it can provide heat energy to water molecules and then switch to the gas phase. This research aims to determine the relationship between the Surface Urban Heat Island Phenomenon and Evaporation in the city of Serang. The data used is air temperature data and UHI intensity value data obtained from the results of temperature comparison calculations for Serang City and Tangerang Regency, over a period of 10 years The research results show that the city of Serang experienced UHI with high UHI areas in Serang sub-district. There is a relationship between SUHI and evaporation with a significance value of 0.000 and tcount > ttable. The regression equation obtained is Y=-11,926+ 0,577X. The regression coefficient value the variable The magnitude of the relationship between SUHI and evaporation is 0.472 with a relationship SUHI and evaporation percentage of 22.3%.

Additional Information: Kota Serang menjadi salah satu penyangga provinsi Banten dengan berbagai kegiatan perekonomian, industri, pertanian dan sebagainya yang menyebabkan peningkatan suhu di wilayah perkotaan atau dikenal dengan istilah Surface Urban Heat Island (SUHI). Fenomena Surface Urban Heat Island (SUHI) merupakan suatu kondisi dimana daerah perkotaan atau urban lebih hangat dibandingkan dengan wilayah sekitar kota (rural). Berdasarkan data dari BMKG rata-rata suhu udara kota serang yaitu 27,5 ℃ sehingga hal ini dapat berkaitan dengan evaporasi. Evaporasi dipengaruhi oleh SUHI karena dapat memberikan energi panas kepada molekul air dan kemudian beralih ke fase gas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan Fenomena Surface Urban Heat Island terhadap Evaporasi di kota Serang. Data yang digunakan berupa data suhu udara dan data nilai intensitas UHI yang diperoleh dari hasil perhitungan perrbandingan suhu Kota Serang dan Kabupaten Tangerang, dengan periode waktu 10 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kota Serang mengalami UHI dengan wilayah UHI tertinggi berada di kecamatan Serang. Terdapat hubungan antara SUHI dan evaporasi dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000 dan thitung > ttabel. Persamaan regresi yang diperoleh yaitu Y=-11,926+ 0,577X. Nilai koefisien regresi variable X (SUHI) adalah 0,577 bernilai positif, sehingga jika SUHI mengalami kenaikan 1 nilai, maka tingkat evaporasi akan meningkat sebesar 0,577. Besarnya hubungan antara SUHI dan evaporasi yaitu 0,472 dengan persentase hubungan SUHI dan evaporasi sebesar 22,3%.
