Abstract
The aim of this research is to find out and see the effectiveness of wordwall and quizizz media aplication on the short story writing skills of class XI high school students at SMA Negeri 1 Pabuaran. Researchers used experimental methods with a quantitative approach and pretest and posttest research designs. This research used random sampling on class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Pabuaran. The data collection technique was taken from the test results by conducting a pretest and posttest for the experimental class and control class with a grid of assessment instruments, namely content, organization and presentation, story facilities, and mechanics. The research findings show the effectiveness of wordwall media with an average pretest score of 52,66 and posttest 81,91. Then, the effectiveness of quizizz media aplication with an average pretest score of 54,96 and posttest 73,52. Furthermore, the results of the difference in the wordwall media aplication posttest were 8,39 points superior. So it can be concluded that the wordwall media aplication is superior to the quizizz media aplication when applied to the short story writing skills of class XI high school students.

Additional Information: | Tujuan penelitian ini guna mengetahui dan melihat efektivitas media aplikasi wordwall dan quizizz terhadap keterampilan menulis cerita pendek siswa SMA kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Pabuaran. Peneliti menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif serta desain penelitian pretest dan posttest. Penelitian ini menngunakan random sampling pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Pabuaran. Teknik pengumppulan data diambil dari hasil tes dengan melakukan pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan kisi-kisi instrumen penilaian yaitu isi, organsasi dan penyajian, sarana cerita, dan mekanik. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan keefektifan media aplikasi wordwall dengan rata-rata nilai pretest 52,66 dan posttest 81,91. Kemudian, keefektifan media aplikasi quizizz dengan rata-rata nilai pretest 54,96 dan posttest 73,52. Selanjutnya, hasil perbedaan posttest media aplikasi wordwall lebih unggul 8,39 poin. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media aplikasi wordwall lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan media aplikasi quizizz untuk diterapkan pada keterampilan menulis cerita pendek siswa SMA kelas XI. | |||||||||
