Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of using the VocApp platform on vocabulary skills among seventh-grade students at SMPN 1 Ciruas. Employing a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, the study involved a sample of 60 students evenly divided between an experimental class (30 students) and a control class (30 students). Both groups underwent a pre-test during the initial session and a post-test during the final session. The post-test was administered to both classes to evaluate the effect. Hypothesis testing was conducted using independent samples t-test through SPSS 23.0. The findings showed a favorable effect of using the VocApp platform on vocabulary skills among seventh-grade students at SMPN 1 Ciruas. The Sig. (2-tailed) value of the Independent T-test is 0.000, indicating statistical significance (0.000 < 0.05). Therefore, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, indicating that the use of VocApp can affect students' vocabulary skills. In conclusion, this study confirms the positive effect of using the VocApp platform on the vocabulary skills of seventh-grade students at SMPN 1 Ciruas.

Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi-eksperimental, penelitian ini melibatkan sampel sebanyak 60 siswa yang terbagi rata antara kelas eksperimen (30 siswa) dan kelas kontrol (30 siswa). Kedua kelompok menjalani pre-test selama sesi awal dan post-test selama sesi akhir. Post-test diberikan kepada kedua kelas untuk mengevaluasi pengaruhnya. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan uji t sampel independen melalui SPSS 23.0. Temuan menunjukkan efek positif dari penggunaan platform VocApp terhadap keterampilan kosa kata di kalangan siswa kelas tujuh di SMPN 1 Ciruas. Nilai Sig. (2-tailed) dari uji t independen adalah 0.000, menunjukkan signifikansi statistik (0.000 < 0.05). Oleh karena itu, hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima, yang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan VocApp dapat mempengaruhi keterampilan kosa kata siswa. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini mengkonfirmasi efek positif penggunaan platform VocApp terhadap keterampilan kosa kata siswa kelas tujuh di SMPN 1 Ciruas. | |||||||||
