Abstract
This research raises the problem of moral degradation of the nation's next generation caused by the unstoppable flow of globalization. Apart from that, this research is related to the preservation or maintenance of local cultural heritage in the form of folklore knowledge which is implemented as teaching material in schools. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods to determine the structural elements and educational values contained in the Banten folklore anthology. The research techniques used were library study techniques and note-reading techniques. Apart from that, the data analysis technique used is content analysis technique. The results of this research show: (1) 42 data were found for the structural elements of theme, character or characterization, background, plot, point of view, and message in three Banten folk tales. (2) The value of religious, moral, social and traditional education was found in 22 data. (3) The results of the research show that the Banten folklore anthology is a material for studying literature in senior high school.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini mengangkat permasalahan degradasi moral generasi penerus bangsa yang disebabkan arus globalisasi yang tidak dapat dibendung. Selain itu, penelitian ini berkaitan dengan pelestarian atau pemertahanan warisan budaya lokal dalam bentuk pengetahuan cerita rakyat yang diimplementasikan sebagai bahan ajar di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif untuk mengetahui unsur struktural dan nilai-nilai pendidikan yang ada di antologi cerita rakyat Banten. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan teknik studi pustaka dan teknik baca catat. Selain itu, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis konten. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan : (1) unsur struktural tema, tokoh atau penokohan, latar, latar, alur, sudut pandang, dan amanat dalam tiga cerita rakyat Banten ditemukan 42 data. (2) Nilai pendidikan religius, moral, sosial, dan adat sebanyak 22 data. (3) Hasil penelitian menunjukkan antologi cerita rakyat Banten menjadi bahan pembelajaran sastra di SMA . | |||||||||
