Abstract
ABSTRACT ENDANG JUNIARDI. 2013. The Inventory of Parasites Worms in milkfish (Chanos chanos) in Village pond Ketapang Mauk District Tangerang Regency Banten Province. Supervised by: MUSTAHAL and ACHMAD NOERKHAERIN PUTRA. Milkfish is one of famous fish with highly nutrition contents. They are easily found in the market, and its price is relatively cheap. Milkfish just like other animals, has never free from the threat of various parasites. The fishes are also known to be vulnerable to parasite infection. Several worms species of fishes often inhabit a single body of fish. Therefore, in this study the inventory of parasite was done in milkfish. The examination was begun by measuring the fish total length and its weight, and then observed all the parasites found and inventoried. The examination also performed on the digestive tract by dissecting the fish. The whole organ observed and stored in a petridish containing a physiological saline solution. And then thy were observed by using a microscope. The results showed that were 6 types digenea 1 (5 species), Nematodes 1 (20 species), Procamallanus (3 species), Anisakis (4 species), Dichelyne (1 species), and Rhabdochona (1 species) with a parasitic worm intensity by 32 . Highest intensity in fish Nematodes 1 by 20 and the lowest in fish Dichelyne , and Rhabdochona by 1 with a prevalence of parasitic worms by 40% . Highest parasite prevalence of digenea 1 by 12% and the lowest was 1 Nematodes, Dichelyne, Rhabdochona by 4% . Keywords : Inventory, parasite worms, milkfish.

Dibimbing oleh: MUSTAHAL dan ACHMAD NOERKHAERIN PUTRA Ikan bandeng memiliki kandungan gizi tinggi, mudah didapat oleh konsumen, harganya relatif murah.Ikan bandeng sama seperti makhluk hidup lainnya, tidak pernah lepas dari ancaman berbagai jenis parasit karena ikan dikenal sangat rentan terinfeksi parasit. Beberapa ekor cacing dan beberapa spesies sering menghuni satu tubuh ikan. Ikan bandeng diukur dari panjang mulut hingga ujung ekor (Toal Length), kemudian ditimbang beratnya total, ikan di amati jenis kelaminnya, serta diinventarisasi jenis parasitnya.pemeriksaan dilakukan pada saluran pencernaan dengan cara membedah tubuh ikan,seluruh organ yang ada dikeluarkan lalu disimpan dalam sebuah cawan petri yang berisi larutan NaCl fisiologis. Pengamatan organ dalam setiap cacing yang berhasil diisolasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan mikroskop elektron. Jenis parasit yang menginfeksi ikan bandeng hasil budidaya di Tambak Desa Ketapang KecamatanMauk Kabupaten Tangerang Provinsi Banten sebanyak 6 jenis yaitu Digenea 1 (5 ekor), Nematoda 1 (20 ekor), Procamallanus (3 ekor), Anisakis (4ekor), Dicheline (1 ekor), dan Rhabdochona (1 ekor) dengan intensitas cacing parasit sebesar 32. Intensitas tertinggi pada ikan Nematoda 1 sebesar 20 ekor dan terendah pada ikan Dicheline, dan Rhabdochona sebesar 1 ekor dengan prevalensi cacing parasit sebesar 40%. Prevalensi parasit tertinggi yaitu Digenea 1 sebesar 12% dan terendah Nematoda 1, Dicheline, Rhabdochona sebesar 4%. Kata kunci : Inventarisasi, cacing parasit, ikan bandeng. | |||||||||
