Abstract

This research aims to find out and identify whether it is in line with the objectives of implementing the Independent Curriculum (IKM) and the objectives of vocational education at SMKN 5 Tangerang Regency. Pancasila as the basis of the Indonesian state requires the right approach in its implementation in the educational environment. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach to gain an in-depth understanding of how the P5 project is implemented at SMKN 5 Tangerang Regency. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and analysis of related documents and the subjects interviewed were the Deputy Curriculum Secretary, P5 Center Coordinator, P5 Class Coordinator, Teachers assigned to P5, and students in grades 10, 11, and 12. Data analysis techniques were determined using the Nvivo12 pro application. The results obtained were that Implementation (P5) at SMKN 5 Tangerang Regency was proven to run smoothly with the use of a time block system for one month at the end of the semester, involving team formation, determining dimensions, themes and time allocation, as well as integration in extracurricular learning with separate evaluations, Even though there are obstacles such as limited time, difficulties in coordination, and lack of student enthusiasm, however, the implementation strategy carried out has succeeded in forming student character by developing soft skills that are by the objectives of Implementing the Independent Curriculum (IKM) and vocational education objectives, showing success in preparing students for the world of work.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengidentifikasi apakah sudah sejalan dengan tujuan Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka (IKM) dan tujuan pendidikan vokasi di SMKN 5 Kabupaten Tangerang. Pancasila sebagai dasar negara Indonesia memerlukan pendekatan yang tepat dalam implementasinya di lingkungan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang bagaimana proyek P5 dijalankan di SMKN 5 Kabupaten Tangerang. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen terkait dan subjek yang diwawancarai adalah Sekretaris Wakil Kurikulum, Koordinator Pusat P5, Koordinator Kelas P5, Guru yang dititipkan P5 dan Siswa kelas 10, 11, 12. Teknik analisis data ditentukan menggunakan aplikasi Nvivo12 pro. Hasil yang didapat adalah Pelaksanaan (P5) di SMKN 5 Kabupaten Tangerang terbukti berjalan lancar dengan penggunaan sistem blok waktu selama satu bulan pada akhir semester, melibatkan pembentukan tim, penentuan dimensi, tema, dan alokasi waktu, serta integrasi dalam pembelajaran intrakurikuler dengan evaluasi terpisah, meskipun terdapat hambatan seperti keterbatasan waktu, kesulitan dalam koordinasi, dan kurangnya semangat siswa, namun demikian, strategi implementasi yang dilakukan telah berhasil membentuk karakter siswa dengan pengembangan soft skill yang sesuai dengan tujuan Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka (IKM) dan tujuan pendidikan vokasi, menunjukkan keberhasilan dalam mempersiapkan siswa untuk dunia kerja.
