Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of use of varied and interesting learning media, especially in learning history, so that students' interest in history lessons is very low compared to other subjects. These problems cause history learning to be very boring, unattractive and lead to passive attitudes from students. If this problem continues, it will have an impact on the lack of willingness and motivation to learn, causing students' ability in learning outcomes to be low. To overcome this problem, the researchers developed an Android-based picture card learning media product that can help teachers and students study history, especially the history of the proclamation of Indonesian independence. The type of research used is R&D (Research and Development) research with a procedural model, namely a descriptive model and outlines the steps of the research procedure Sugiyono (2017) the steps in R&D research consist of ten steps as follows: (1 ) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revision, (6) product trial, (7) product revision, (8) usage trial, (9) product revision, and (10) mass production. Then it was adjusted to only six steps (1) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revision, (6) product testing. Based on the feasibility assessment of material experts and media experts, the results of the assessments of material experts are included in the very feasible category. While the results of the assessment of media experts are included in the Eligible category. Then, based on the results of the practicality assessment from the teacher and 15 students included in the very practical category and able to attract student motivation. Thus, the android-based infographic learning media on the history of the Indonesian revolution is suitable for use as a medium for learning history in the classroom and for independent learning.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang bervariasi dan menarik, khususnya dalam pembelajaran sejarah, Permasalahan tersebut menyebabkan pembelajaran sejarah menjadi sangat membosankan. Jika permasalahan ini terus berlanjut akan berdampak pada kurangnya kemauan dan motivasi belajar sehingga menyebabkan kemampuan siswa dalam hasil belajar rendah. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, peneliti mengembangakan produk media pembelajaran kartu bergambar berbasis android yang dapat membantu guru dan siswa dalam mempelajari sejarah khususnya materi sejarah proklamasi kemerdekaan Indonesia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian R&D (Research and Development) Berdasarkan Penilaian kelayakan ahli materi dan ahli media, Kemudian berdasarkan hasil penilaian respon dari 15 siswa termasuk dalam kategori layak. Dengan demikian media pembelajaran kartu bergambar berbasis adroid tokoh proklamasi kemerdekaan Indonesia layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran sejarah.
