Abstract

School principals have a key role in encouraging the adoption of technology in schools. Technology-based learning is a way to improve the quality of learning in schools so that school principals who are able to adapt to technological changes and lead the implementation of innovation are indicators of successful performance. This research aims to analyze the performance of school principals in the successful planning and implementation of technology-based learning activity programs at SD Negeri Rawu, Serang City. This research also aims to identify the challenges faced by school principals in implementing technology-based learning in the school environment. The research method used is a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, observation and document analysis. The results of this research show that the performance of the school principal has a very significant role in the successful implementation of technology-based learning at SD Negeri Rawu. An effective school principal is able to provide support, formulate thorough plans, and ensure that the implementation of technology-based learning programs runs well. It was also found that school principals need to overcome various challenges, such as limited resources, resistance from teachers and students, as well as supporting policies.

Additional Information: Kepala sekolah memiliki peran kunci dalam mendorong adopsi teknologi di sekolah, Pembelajaran berbasis teknologi merupakan jalan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah sehingga kepala sekolah yang mampu menyesuaikan diri dengan perubahan teknologi dan memimpin implementasi inovasi menjadi indikator keberhasilan kinerjanya.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja kepala sekolah dalam menyukseskan perencanaan dan pelaksanaan program kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di SD Negeri Rawu Kota Serang. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi kepala sekolah dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di lingkungan sekolah tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kinerja kepala sekolah memiliki peran yang sangat signifikan dalam kesuksesan implementasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di SD Negeri Rawu. Kepala sekolah yang efektif mampu memberikan dukungan, merumuskan perencanaan yang matang, dan memastikan pelaksanaan program pembelajaran berbasis teknologi berjalan dengan baik. Ditemukan pula bahwa kepala sekolah perlu mengatasi berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya, resistensi dari guru dan siswa, serta kebijakan yang mendukung.
