Abstract
The existence of tourism can encourage the economy in society. Merak Kecil Island tourism is a tourism that is managed directly by the community around the tourist attraction. What the community does in the economic cycle is by building simple stalls on Merak Kecil Island and managing facilities such as renting camping tents and ferry boats. Therefore, the author tried to conduct research on the community economy in the area around the small Merak Island tourist attraction for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) actors. This research uses a qualitative approach, a descriptive field research study method with informants from the MSME community, tourism managers, and the Cilegon City Youth, Sports and Tourism Department. The aim achieved in this research is to determine the economic cycle of local communities who are Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) actors in businesses built at the Merak Kecil Island tourist attraction. As well as knowing the efforts of the role of the Cilegon City Youth, Sports and Tourism Department in developing Merak Kecil Island Tourism. The research results found 3 indicators (1) the growth rate of creativity in developing businesses (2) productivity in society (3) adequate structural changes. | Additional Information: | Adanya pariwisata dapat mendorong roda perekonomian pada masyarakat. Wisata Pulau Merak Kecil merupakan wisata yang dikelola langsung oleh masyarakat sekitar objek wisata, hal yang dilakukan masyarakat dalam perputaran ekonomi yakni dengan membangun warung-warung sederhana di dalam Pulau Merak Kecil serta mengelola sarana seperti penyewaan tenda champing dan perahu penyebrangan. Oleh karena itu, penulis mencoba melakukan penelitian tentang perekonomian masyarakat pada kawasan sekitar objek wisata pulau merak kecil terhadap pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, metode studi deskriptif field research atau penelitian lapangan dengan informan masyarakat pelaku UMKM, pengelola wisata, dan Dinas Kepemudaan, Olahraga, dan Pariwisata Kota Cilegon. Tujuan yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui siklus ekonomi pada masyarakat setempat yang menjadi pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) terhadap usaha yang dibangun pada tempat Wisata Pulau Merak Kecil. Serta mengetahui bentuk upaya peran Dinas Kepemudaan, Olahraga, dan Pariwisata Kota Cilegon terhadap pengembangan Wisata Pulau Merak Kecil. Hasil penelitian menemukan 3 indikator (1) laju pertumbuhan kreativitas dalam mengembangkan usaha (2) produktivitas dalam masyarakat (3) perubahan struktural yang cukup memadai. | |||||||||
