Abstract

Education is an effort carried out in a planned, methodical, and rational manner to help humans become adults in accordance with the needs and expectations of their environment. However, there are still many vocational school graduates who are not yet in tune with industry needs. So with the presence of the teaching factory learning model to support students' knowledge and skills to be truly ready to enter the industrial world and to bridge the gap between vocational school graduates and industrial needs. So this research aims to determine the planning, implementation, and results obtained from implementing teaching factory learning at SMKN 5 Tangerang Regency. This research uses a case study method with a qualitative approach, and data collection techniques namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources in this research are respondents who were involved in implementing the teaching factory, namely teachers and students totaling 7 people. Data analysis used Nvivo 12 Pro software. The results of this research confirm that in planning the main things to pay attention to are the teaching factory structure, productive teachers, maintenance team, infrastructure, workshop environment, school environment, funding sources, and marketing media. In implementing teaching factory learning, there are 2 managements, namely independent teaching factories and industrial partnerteaching factories. The results obtained from implementing the teaching factory learning model are conditioning the workshop environment which has been adapted to the industry, such asinstalling K3 posters, warnings about energy saving and the dangers of high voltage and production flow. The products and services produced include flower racks and plaques, while the industrial partner teaching factory is in the form of services provided by schools. The 5 teachers who manage the teaching factory have experience in the industry, both in internships and training. With teaching factory learning, you can increase the knowledge and competencies needed according to industry needs.

Additional Information: Pendidikan adalah usaha yang dilakukan secara terencana, metodis, dan rasional untuk membantu manusia menjadi dewasa sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan harapan lingkungannya. Akan tetapi masih banyak lulusan SMK yang belum selaras dengan kebutuhan industri. Sehingga dengan hadirnya model pembelajaran teaching factory untuk menunjang pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa untuk benar-benar siap memasuki dunia industriserta untuk menjembatani kesenjangan antara lulusan SMK dengan kebutuhan industri. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan hasil yang didapat dari penerapan pembelajaran teaching factory di SMKN 5 Kabupaten Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber data pada penelitian ini yaitu responden yang terlibat dalam pelaksanaan teaching factory yaitu guru dan siswa yang berjumlah 7 orang, analisis data menggunakan software Nvivo 12 Pro. Hasil dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa dalam perencanaan hal yang utama diperhatikan yaitu terkait struktur teaching factory, guru produktif, tim perawatan, sarana prasarana, lingkungan bengkel, lingkungan sekolah, sumber dana, dan media pemasaran. Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran teaching factory terdapat 2 manajemen yaitu teaching factory mandiri dan teaching factory mitra industri. Hasil yang didapat dari penerapan model pembelajaran teaching factory ini yaitu pengkondisian lingkungan bengkel yang sudah disesuaikan dengan industri seperti pemasangan poster K3, peringatan hemat energi dan bahaya tegangan tinggi serta alur produksi. Produk dan jasa dimana produk yang dihasilkan yaitu seperti rak bunga dan plakat sedangkan teaching factory mitra industri berupa jasa yang disedikan oleh sekolah. Adapun 5 Guru pengelola teaching factory sudah berpengalaman diindustri baik magang maupun pelatihan. Dengan adanya pembelajaran teaching factory dapat meningkatkan ilmu pengetahuan dan kompetensi yang dibutuhkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri.
