Abstract
This study aims to determine the role of the Cilegon City Government and the Interfaith Harmony Forum (FKUB) Cilegon in preventing acts of intolerance among religious communities, specifically related to: 1) Planning the Interfaith Harmony Maintenance Program to prevent intolerance in Cilegon City. 2) Implementation of the Interfaith Harmony Maintenance Program to prevent intolerance in Cilegon City. 3) Evaluation results of the Interfaith Harmony Maintenance Program to prevent intolerance in Cilegon City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection involving in-depth interviews with representatives from the Cilegon City Kesbangpol, FKUB, Cilegon City Office of Religious Affairs, and analysis of policy documents related to religious harmony. The main findings reveal planning strategies from each institution involving stages consisting of: 1) Setting goals or a series of goals. 2) Formulating the current situation. 3) Identifying all facilitators and barriers. 4) Developing a plan or series of activities to achieve the goals. Furthermore, the program implementation consists of the Socialization of Joint Ministerial Regulations (PBM) Number 9 and Number 8 of 2006, Subsequent Interfaith Leader Meetings, Interfaith Youth Forums (Fordaliga), and Coordination Meetings of Community Leaders Across Religions (Tomaliga). The evaluation results of the interfaith harmony maintenance program in Cilegon City can be seen in the achievement of the Interfaith Harmony Index (KUB) in 2022 released in 2023, which scored 79.71 points in the category of Very High Harmony. This achievement exceeds the 2022 target with a score of 68.74 points and a percentage achievement of 115.96%. Furthermore, this score is above the national KUB index average in 2022, which is 72.39 points.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran Pemerintah Kota Cilegon dan Forum Kerukunan Umat Beragama (FKUB) Cilegon dalam mencegah tindakan intoleransi antar umat beragama, yaitu terkait dengan, 1) Perencanaan Program pemeliharan kerukunan umat beragama untuk mencegah tindakan Intoleransi di Kota Cilegon. 2) Pelaksanaan Program pemeliharaan kerukunan umat beragama untuk mencegah tindakan Intoleransi di Kota Cilegon. 3) Hasil Evaluasi dari Program Pemeliharaan kerukunan umat beragama untuk mencegah tindakan Intoleransi di Kota Cilegon. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data melibatkan wawancara mendalam dengan perwakilan dari Kesbangpol Kota Cilegon, FKUB, Kantor Kemenag Kota Cilegon serta analisis dokumen kebijakan terkait kerukunan umat beragama. Temuan utama mengungkapkan strategi perencanaan dari masing-masing lembaga yang melalui tahapan yang terdiri dari; 1) Menetapkan tujuan atau serangkaian tujuan. 2) Merumuskan keadaan saat ini. 3) Mengidentifikasikan segala kemudahan dan hambatan. 4) Mengembangkan rencana atau serangkaian kegiatan untuk pencapaian tujuan. Selanjutnya, Pelaksanaan program terdiri dari Sosialisasi Peraturan Bersama Menteri (PBM) Nomor 9 dan Nomor 8 Tahun 2006, Pertemuan Tokoh Lintas Agama Selanjutnya, Forum Pemuda Lintas Agama (Fordaliga) dan Rapat Koordinasi Tokoh Masyarakat Lintas Agama (Tomaliga). Hasil Evaluasi dari program pemeliharaan kerukunan umat beragama di Kota Cilegon dapat dilihat capain indeks kerukunan umat beragama (KUB) Tahun 2022 yang dirilis pada tahun 2023, yaitu dengan nilai 79,71 poin dengan kategori kerukunan Sangat Tinggi. Capaian ini melebihi target tahun 2022 dengan nilai 68,74 poin dengan persentase capaian 115,96%. Selanjutnya, nilai tersebut diatas rata-rata indeks KUB nasional Tahun 2022 yang nilainya adalah 72,39 poin. | |||||||||
