Abstract
This study aims to to find out whether or not there is an influence of documentary film learning media in improving student learning outcomes in the subjects of Pancasila Education. This research uses a quantitative approach, with a quasi-experimental method. The population is grade VIII students of Shohibul Barokah Junior High School which amounts to 84 students. The sample used a population sample, namely by using a total population of 84 students. As many as 42 students in class VIII A were used as an experimental class given documentary film learning media treatment and 42 students in class VIII B were used as a control class not given treatment. In measuring student learning outcomes, it is carried out using instruments in the form of written tests in the form of multiple-choice questions as many as 20 questions that have passed the level of validity and reality. Based on the results of research using these two classes where the results are both normally distributed and homogeneous. Furthermore, hypothesis testing using the Independent Samplee T-Test resulted in a significant influence on the use of documentary film learning media on the cognitive learning outcomes of grade VIII students. Based on the calculation results, the value of rcalculate sig (2-tailed) is 0.014 < rtable is 0.05 so it can be concluded that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means that there is an influence of documentary film learning media on the cognitive learning outcomes of grade VIII students on the material of National Awakening and Youth Oath.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode kuasi eksperimental. Populasinya yaitu peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Shohibul Barokah yang berjumlah 84 peserta didik. Sampel yang digukan menggunakan sampel populasi yaitu dengan menggunakan keseluruhan jumlah populasi sebanyak 84 peserta didik. Sebanayak 42 peserta didik di kelas VIII A dijadikan sebagai kelas eksperimen di berikan perlakuan media pembelajaran film dokumenter dan 42 peserta didik di kelas VIII B dijadikan kelas kontrol tidak diberikan treatment. Dalam mengukur hasil belajar peserta didik dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa tes tertulis dalam bentuk soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 butir soal yang telah melalui tahap validitas dan reliabilitas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang menggunakan dua kelas tersebut dimana hasil keduanya berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan Independent Sampel T-Test mendapatkan hasil adanya pengaruh yang signifikan pada penggunaan media pembelajaran film dokumenter terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik kelas VIII. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai rhitung sig(2-tailed) yaitu 0,014 < rtabel yaitu 0,05 sehungga dapat disimpulkan bahwa H1 diterima dan Ho ditolak yang artinya terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran film dokumenter terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik kelas VIII pada materi kebangkitan Nasional dan Sumpah Pemuda. | |||||||||
