Abstract

Based on data released by the Metro Jaya Police there are 61 locations that are prone to accidents in the DKI Jakarta Province, Daan Mogot is one of the locations that are included in accident-prone areas. Daan Mogot is a national road that connects Jakarta with the city of Tangerang, Based on data from the Satlantas Metro Jaya Police there are several areas on Jalan Daan Mogot that often experience accidents. Therefore, Jalan Daan Mogot was chosen as the area for evaluation of road safety / Road Safety. The method used in this study are two methods, namely the z-score method to analyze accident-prone areas and the cummulative summary (cusum) method to analyze accident-prone points. The z-score method was used first to determine accident-prone areas or black sites and then analyzed the accident-prone points or black spots using the cummulative summary (cusum) method. The results of the analysis of accident data concluded that from the 12 segments of Daan Mogot the greatest number of accidents occurred in the area of Kebon Besar, then the district of Cengkareng Timur, the area of Kedoya Utara, the area of Kalideres, Kec. Cengkareng Barat , and at the lowest the Kedaung Kali Angke region. The cause of accidents in each segment is a human factor, with the dominant form of accident occurring is hit and run and hit by pedestrians or pedestrians. The most dominant modus operandi is lack of concentration and overtaking.
