Abstract
Background: Pneumonia is an acute respiratory infection that attacks the alveoli in the lungs. Conjugated Pneumococcal Vaccine (VPC) is given routinely and is given to toddlers aged 2 (Two) months, 3 (Three) months, and additional vaccination to toddlers aged 12 (Twelve) months. Objective: This research is to determine the influence of education on maternal knowledge regarding the Pneumococcal Conjugation (VPC) vaccine in Cirangrang Village, Lebak. Banten. Method: This research uses a quantitative type of research using quasi-experimental methods. The sample in this research was a total sampling of 35 people. The population in this study used (Cluster Sampling), namely random sampling of respondents. so the sampling method is a total sampling technique. Data analysis in this research used Chi Square. Results: In this study, a significant p value of 0.008 <0.05 was obtained. Conclusion: This research shows that there is a relationship between the influence of education and maternal knowledge in Cirangrang Village, Lebak, Banten. Suggestion: There is a need to increase health education, especially for mothers who have toddlers in the District. Muncang. Lebak, Banten.

| Additional Information: | Latar Belakang: Pneumonia adalah penyakit infeksi saluran pernafasan akut yang menyerang alveoli pada paru-paru. Vaksin Pneumokokus Conyugasi (VPC) diberikan secara rutin dan diberikan pada balita usia 2 (Dua) bulan, 3 (Tiga) bulan, dan vaksinasi tambahan pada balita usia 12 (Dua belas) bulan.Tujuan: Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengeruh edukasi terhadap pengetahuan Ibu mengenai vaksin Pneumokokus Conyugasi (VPC) di Desa Cirangrang, Lebak. Banten. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah total sampling sebanyak 35 orang. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan (Cluster Sampling) yaitu pengambilan responden secara acak. sehingga metode pengambilan sampelnya adalah teknik total sampling. Analisa data dalam penelitian ini, menggunakan Chi Square. Hasil: Penelitian ini, didapatkan nilai p value 0.008<0,05 signifikan. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini bahwa ada hubungan pengaruh edukasi dengan pengetahuan ibu di Desa Cirangrang, Lebak, Banten Saran: Diperlukan untuk memperbanyak edukasi kesehatan terutama kepada ibu yang mempunyai balita Di Wilayah Kec.
