Abstract

Properly so that the consequences of these changes are the emergence of disasters, especially floods that cause a lot of losses. The flood in the Banten Province has caused a detrimental impact on the community. Floods can also damage buildings, agricultural land, facilities and infrastructure, the environment, and damage the living system of people in the Banten region, especially the Cilemer River. The purpose of this study was to determine the magnitude of the flood discharge plan for the 100-year return period on the Cilemer river, to find out the capacity of the river with the flood discharge that occurred in the Cilemer river with Q100 and provide the right solution to the flood problems in the Cilemer River. The 100 year return of rainfall is 177,137 mm and the flood discharge with a 100 year return period is 3042.28 m3 / s. The existing conditions of Cilemer River starting from HM 00 + 00 to HM 153 + 00 with 94 segments ranging from the PA segment to C57 cannot accommodate flood discharge with a 100 year return period. Water overflow in the Cilemer river occurs due to a large flood discharge from upstream without any control measures. Based on hydraulics analysis, it is known that the capacity of the Cilemer river in the existing conditions is unable to drain the planned flood discharge, so flood control efforts are needed. After normalizing the river and elevating the embankment the water level decrease occurs an average of 45.42% and the decrease in average discharge is 12.46%, so it can be concluded that the Cilemer river is able to accommodate flood discharge with a 100 year return period Keywords: Flood Discharge, HEC RAS 5.0.3, HSS Snyder Method, HSS Nakayasu Method
