Abstract

Banten Province has a watershed (DAS) which is divided into six parts, one of which is Cisadane, with an area of 1,375.43 km² with a river length of 79.6 km2 making the river the biggest in Banten. This makes the activity dense in the area around the river, especially in the lower reaches. The purpose of this study is to identify the occurrence of floods in the downstream, especially in C142-C108 for the flood discharge plan Q50 and to provide recommendations for handling it. This study uses rainfall data obtained for 18 years, Cisadane watershed map, cross-sectional images and extending the Cisadane river. Flood discharge analysis plan using the SCS HSS Method, and Snyder HSS. The plan discharge calculation was used to analyze floods using the HEC-RAS program at 33 review points. The results showed that the Q50 flood discharge was 1994.979 m3 / sec where at all locations the review points experienced flooding. Efforts to deal with floods that can be done in the short term are by normalizing river flows and building embankments, for the long term efforts need to be made to conserve land in watersheds, eco-hydraulics, regulations, and their maintenance.
