Abstract
Introduction: Caring behavior is an action based on concern, affection, skill, empathy, responsibility, sensitivity and support which must be carried out at all times with sincere and sincere feelings. One assessment of nurse's caring behavior can be done based on patient perceptions which are influenced by age, education, gender, and LOS. The Aim of Research: To determine the relationship between age, gender, education, and LOS which is related to patient perceptions of nurse’s Caring behavior in nursing services in the inpatient room at RSUD dr. Adjidarmo. Method: Research with observational analytics and cross sectional design. The research was quantitative with a sample of 127 patients in five inpatient rooms. The research started from September 2023-March 2024. The instrument used the CBI-42 questionnaire referring to Watson's carative factors with a validity of r= 0.164-0.714 and a reliability of 0.947. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate. Results: Research on 127 respondents in the inpatient room at RSUD dr. Adjidarmo produced a good perception of 95.3%. The age is related to the patient's perception of nurse's caring behavior in nursing services in the inpatient room at RSUD dr. Adjidarmo with a p value of 0.045. Gender is not related to patient perceptions of nurse's caring behavior with a p value of 0.100. Education is related to patient perceptions of nurse's caring behavior with a p value of 0.000. Lastly, LOS is also related to patient perceptions of nurse's caring behavior, p value 0.000. Conclusion: Caring behavior that is implemented well can enable patients to quickly achieve health and well-being.

| Additional Information: | Latar belakang: Perilaku caring merupakan tindakan yang didasari oleh kepedulian, kasih sayang, keterampilan, empati, tanggung jawab, sensitif, dan dukungan yang harus dilakukan setiap saat dengan perasaan tulus dan ikhlas. Salah satu penilaian perilaku caring perawat bisa dilakukan berdasarkan persepsi pasien yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal (usia, pendidikan, jenis kelamin) dan eksternal (LOS). Tujuan penelitian: Mengetahui hubungan usia, jenis kelamin, pendidikan, dan Length Of Stay (LOS) yang berhubungan dengan persepsi pasien terhadap perilaku caring perawat dalam pelayanan keperawatan di ruang rawat inap RSUD dr. Adjidarmo. Metode: Penelitian dengan analitik observasional dan desain penelitian cross sectional. Penelitan bersifat kuantitatif dengan sampel sebanyak 127 pasien di lima ruang rawat. Penelitian dimulai sejak September 2023 hingga Maret 2024. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner CBI-42 mengacu pada faktor karatif Watson dengan validitas r= 0,164-0,714 dan reliabilitas 0,947. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat. Hasil: Penelitian kepada 127 responden di ruang rawat inap RSUD dr. Adjidarmo menghasilkan persepsi baik sebesar 95,3%. Faktor usia berhubungan dengan persepsi pasien terhadap perilaku caring perawat dalam pelayanan keperawatan di ruang rawat inap RSUD dr. Adjidarmo dengan p value 0,045. Jenis kelamin tidak berhubungan dengan persepsi pasien terhadap perilaku caring perawat dengan p value 0,100. Pendidikan berhubungan dengan persepsi pasien terhadap perilaku caring perawat dengan p value 0,000. Terakhir, Length Of Stay (LOS) juga berhubungan dengan persepsi pasien terhadap perilaku caring perawat p value 0,000. Kesimpulan: Perilaku caring yang terlaksana dengan baik dapat membuat pasien cepat dalam mencapai kesehatan dan kesejahteraannya. | |||||||||
