Abstract
The World Health Organization (WHO) states that healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) are infections in healthcare settings. Hand hygiene is a measure to reduce the spread of infection and is an effective way to prevent transmission of infection. Healthcare workers' compliance in performing hand hygiene according to protocols can be influenced by motivational factors. A highly motivated caregiver creates a desire to perform tasks such as five moment hand hygiene. The research purpose is to identify the relationship between nurse motivation and compliance level in performing five moment hand hygiene. The research method used in this study was an analytical analysis with a cross-sectional approach to examine the relationship between nursing staff motivation and compliance level in performing five moment hand hygiene in the medical ward at RSUD dr. Adjidarmo Rangkasbitung. Sampling was done using a probability sampling technique using a proportional stratified random sampling technique such that the sample size taken was 106 inpatient nurses. Motivational data were collected using questionnaire and observation instruments to measure the level of compliance The analysis of this research is to examine the relationship between nurse motivation and the level of compliance in carrying out five moment hand hygiene using SEM PLS. The research results show that motivation has a relationship, namely positive motivation with a path coefficient value of 0.003 with non-compliance in carrying out five moment hand hygiene (59.4%). The conclusion of the results shows that there is a relationship between nurse motivation and the level of compliance in carrying out five moments of hand hygiene in the inpatient room at RSUD dr. Adjidarmo Rangkasbitung with positive motivation which had an influence of 9.1%.

| Additional Information: | World Health Organization (WHO) menyebutkan bahwa Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs) menjadi salah satu infeksi pada pelayanan kesehatan. Hand hygiene merupakan intervensi untuk mengurangi terjadinya penyebaran infeksi dan cara yang efektif untuk mencegah terjadinya penularan infeksi. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan motivasi perawat dengan tingkat kepatuhan dalam melakukan five moment hand hygiene di ruang rawat inap RSUD dr. Adjidarmo Rangkasbitung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini analitik observasional dengan pendekatan crosssectional untuk mencari hubungan motivasi perawat dengan tingkat kepatuhan dalam melakukan five moment hand hygiene. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Probability Sampling dengan pendekatan Proportionate Startified Random Sampling sehingga jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 106 perawat ruang inap. Data motivasi diambil menggunakan instrument kuesioner dan instrument observasi untuk mengukur tingkat kepatuhan. Analisis penelitian ini untuk menguji hubungan motivasi perawat dengan tingkat kepatuhan dalam melakukan five moment hand hygiene dengan menggunakan SEM PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi yang memiliki hubungan yaitu motivasi positif dengan nilai path coeffisient 0.003 dengan ketidakpatuhan dalam melakukan five moment hand hygiene (59.4%). Kesimpulan hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan motivasi perawat dengan tingkat kepatuhan dalam melakukan five moment hand hygiene di ruang rawat inap di RSUD dr. Adjidarmo Rangkasbitung dengan motivasi positif yang berpengaruh sebesar 9.1%. | |||||||||
