Abstract
Background: Burnout is fatigue, both physical, mental and emotional, in which a negative self-concept develops and personal achievement decreases. The impact of burnout can appear in the form of reduced job satisfaction, low personal productivity, and worsening performance. Nurse performance is the result of a nurse's work which is felt directly by the patient. If poor performance is a result of work boredom, it can cause service quality to decline. Research Purposes: The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between burnout and the performance of nurses in the inpatient ward at RSUD dr. Adjidarmo Rangkasbitung. Method: This research method uses an analytical observational design with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all nurses in the inpatient room at RSUD dr. Adjidarmo Rangkasbitung, totaling 153 nurses. After calculating the sample using the Slovin formula, the sample size was 111 nurses using a stratified random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the Pearson chi square test to determine the relationship between the two variables. Results: From the results of the chi square statistical test, a p value of 0.000 was obtained, it can be concluded that the p value (0.000) < α value (0.05), this shows that there is a relationship between burnout and the performance of nurses in the inpatient room at RSUD dr. Adjidarmo Rangkasbitung. Conclusion: Burnout affects nurses' performance, when nurses feel boredom or prolonged fatigue, the work environment can become unconducive and if this situation lasts for a long time it can cause a decrease in performance

Additional Information: | Latar Belakang : Burnout merupakan kelelahan, baik secara fisik, mental, maupun emosional yang di dalamnya berkembang konsep diri yang negatif dan pencapaian prestasi pribadi yang menurun. Dampak dari kejenuhan kerja (burnout) dapat muncul dalam bentuk berkurangnya kepuasan kerja, rendahnya produktivitas diri, dan kinerja yang memburuk. Kinerja perawat adalah hasil pekerjaan seorang perawat yang dirasakan langsung oleh pasien. Jika kinerja buruk akibat dari kejenuhan bekerja, maka dapat menyebabkan mutu pelayanan mengalami penurunan. Tujuan Penelitian : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara burnout dengan kinerja perawat di ruang rawat inap RSUD dr. Adjidarmo Rangkasbitung. Metode : Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua perawat di ruang rawat inap RSUD dr. Adjidarmo Rangkasbitung yang berjumlah 153 perawat. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin didapatkan jumlah sampelnya sebanyak 111 perawat dengan teknik pengambilan sampel stratified random sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji pearson chi square untuk mengetahui hubungan kedua variabel. Hasil : Dari hasil uji statistic chi square diperoleh p value sebesar 0,000, dapat disimpulkan p value (0,000) < nilai α (0,05), hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan burnout dengan kinerja perawat di ruang rawat inap RSUD dr. Adjidarmo Rangkasbitung. Kesimpulan : Burnout mempengaruhi kinerja perawat, saat perawat merasakan adanya kejenuhan atau kelelahan yang berkepanjangan, maka situasi lingkungan kerja dapat menjadi tidak kondusif dan apabila situasi ini berlangsung lama dapat menyebabkan penurunan kinerja. | |||||||||
