Abstract
This research aims to find out whether there is an increase in students' interest in learning after using the Inquiry Based Learning method in Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects. This research sample used two classes, namely class IX E as the experimental class and class IX C as the control class. Based on the research results, the Inquiry Based Learning Method can increase students' interest in learning. This can be seen from the increase in the average value of the percentage of students' interest in learning, namely the pre-test results obtained a value of 67%, the average post-test value obtained a value of 77%. It can be concluded that the learning interest of students in the experimental class, namely class IX E, increased by 10% after being treated using the Inquiry Based Learning method. This research uses a quasi-experimental type of research. The test results using the independent sample T-test formula obtained a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, which means there is a significant difference in the learning interest of students in the experimental class.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada peningkatan minat belajar siswa setelah menggunakan metode Inquiry Based Learning pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan dua kelas yaitu kelas IX E sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IX C sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa Metode Inquiry Based Learning dapat meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik. Hal ini terlihat dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata presentase minat belajar peserta didik yaitu pada hasil pre-test memperoleh nilai 67%, nilai rata-rata post-test memperoleh nilai 77%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa minat belajar peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas IX E terdapat peningkatan sebesar 10% setelah diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan metode Inquiry Based Learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Hasil pengujian dengan menggunakan rumus uji independent sampel T-test diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada minat belajar peserta didik di kelas eksperimen. | |||||||||
