Abstract

E-diagnostic Assessment with Rasch Model based on the Mersics.com website on Static Electricity Prerequisite Material is a diagnostic assessment test instrument developed through the Mersics.com website to test Static Electricity prerequisite material and uses Rasch modeling item analysis. This E-diagnostic Assessment can be used to identify students' initial level of understanding before studying Static Electricity. The aim of this research is to determine the level of validity and reliability of the results of developing an e-diagnostic assessment based on the Mersics.com website using the Rasch Model on the prerequisite material for Static Electricity. Empirical validity and reliability analysis was carried out using the Rasch Model with one logistic parameter (1 PL), namely the level of difficulty of the questions. The analysis was carried out using the Ministep program. This research is Research and Development by adapting a modified version of the 7-stage Borg and Gall development model. Instrument testing was carried out on 75 students of class XII MIPA SMAN 5 Serang City. The research results showed that 70 questions were declared valid by experts using Content Validity Ratio (CVR > 0) analysis, but only 65 questions were used in the trial. Meanwhile, the results of the analysis based on the Rasch Model showed 23 valid questions and 2 invalid questions in the Electric Force sub-material, 10 valid questions in the Electric Field sub-material, 17 valid questions and 3 invalid questions in the Electric Potential Energy and Electric Potential, and 10 valid questions in the Capacitor sub-material. The overall reliability of the questions was declared reliable and superior to the reliability of the respondents. It can be concluded that this E-diagnostic Assessment is suitable for use in physics learning.
