Abstract
The Indonesian education system continues to improve in order to prepare and encourage Human Resources (HR) to be able and ready to compete in achieving and realizing educational goals well. The government continues to strive to improve the quality of education, one of which is through changing the curriculum to adapt to current developments. An independent curriculum is a curriculum that uses internal learning, where schools can adapt the curriculum content to their needs. There are several problems with SMK Negeri 6 Pandeglang not yet fully implementing the independent curriculum. The main problem with not implementing the independent curriculum in these schools is that teachers do not fully know the concepts and stages in implementing the independent curriculum, school principals have not participated in full reflection and training on the independent curriculum and the availability of infrastructure. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research with a mixed research approach (mix method) and embedded concurrent research design. Data collection techniques used closed questionnaires and unstructured interviews. The data analysis technique used is a percentage quantitative descriptive data analysis technique. The research results show that SMK Negeri 6 Pandelang is categorized as ready to implement the independent curriculum. With an average teacher readiness indicator of 82% in the high category, school principal readiness indicators an average of 76% in the high category and infrastructure readiness indicators an average of 80% in the high category. Then the strategies used by the school in implementing the independent curriculum at SMK Negeri 6 Pandelang are: Training, Education and Training, In House Training (IHT) and Subject Teacher Conference (MGMP).

Additional Information: | Sistem pendidikan Indonesia terus berbenah guna mempersiapkan dan mendorong Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) agar mampu dan siap bersaing dalam mencapai dan merealisasikan tujuan pendidikan dengan baik. Pemerintah terus berupaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, salah satunya adalah melaui pergantian kurikulum degan menyesuaikan perkembangan Zaman. Kurikulum merdeka merupakan kurikulum yang menggunakan pembelajarannya internal, dimana sekolah bisa menyesuaikan isi kurikulum dengan kebutuhannya. Terdapat beberapa permasalahn SMK Negeri 6 Pandeglang belum mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka secara penuh. Permasalahan utama belum di implementasikannya kurikulum merdeka di sekolah tersebut adalah Guru yang belum sepenuhnya mengetahui mengenai konsep serta tahapan dalam menerapkan kurikulum merdeka, kepala sekolah belum mengikuti refleksi dan pelatihan kurikulum merdeka secara penuh dan ketersediaan sarana prasarana. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif denngan pendekatan penelitian campuran (mix method) dan desain penelitian embedded concurrent. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup dan wawancara tidak terstruktur. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa SMK Negeri 6 Pandelang dikategorikan siap dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Dengan indikator kesiapan guru rata-rata 82% pada kategori tinggi, indikator kesiapan kepala sekolah rata-rata 76% pada kategori tinggi dan indikator kesiapan sarana prasarana rata-rata 80% pada kategori tinggi. Kemudian strategi yang dilakukan sekolah dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka di SMK Negeri 6 Pandelang yaitu : Pelatihan, Diklat, In House Training (IHT) dan Musyawarh Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP). | |||||||||
