Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of developing Career Information website media as a medium to assist students in the career selection process. the research method used in this research is research and development (R&D) using the waterfall development model. The stages in the development of the waterfall model are the analysis stage, software system design, implementation and unit testing, system testing and maintenance. The participants of this research trial were 8 students of class XII SMAN 1 Baros who had a low level of career selection ability. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire instrument. The results of the feasibility trial of the developed product scored 86% on the media and language feasibility test, 75% on the material feasibility test, and 83% on the usability test by practitioners. So that the average value is 92% or in the very feasible category. Furthermore, based on the results of limited trials on students, it was found that the career information website media could improve students' career selection skills. So it can be concluded that the career information website media is feasible to implement.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengembangkan media website Career Information sebagai media yang dapat membantu siswa dalam proses pemilihan karir. metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan waterfall. Adapun tahapan dalam pengembangan mopresentasedel waterfall adalah tahap analisa, design sistem perangkat lunak, implementasi serta pengujian unit, pengujian system dan pemeliharaan. Partisipan uji coba penelitian ini yaitu 8 orang siswa kelas XII SMAN 1 Baros dengan kemampuan pemilihan karir rendah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen angket. Hasil uji coba kelayakan produk yang dikembangkan mendapat nilai 86% pada uji kelayakan media dan bahasa, 75% pada uji kelayakan materi, dan 83% pada uji ketergunaan oleh praktisi. Sehingga didapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 92% atau berada pada kategori sangat layak. Berdasar pada hasil uji coba terbatas kepada siswa didapatkan hasil bahwa media website career information dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemilihan karir siswa. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media website career information layak untuk diimplementasikan.
