Abstract

This study is a qualitative case study aimed at exploring the experience and influence of the Iqro method on the ability to read the Qur'an in children aged 4-5 years at the Islamic School of Tangerang City Guidance. The participants in the study were children, teachers, and parents of those children who actively read the Qur'an at the Islamic School of Tangerang City Guidance. This research collects data through observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Validation by extension of observation, observation persistence, triangulation, Member check negative case analysis, peer discussion, and reference proficiency. The results of research show that the Iqro method helps early children read the Qur'an well. It shows great interest in the ability to read Arabic letters and early understanding of the meaning of the Qur'an. The success of this method also depends on the involvement of parents in helping children learn.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini merupakan kualitatif studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman dan pengaruh metode Iqro terhadap kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an pada anak-anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Islam Pengayoman Kota Tangerang. Para partisipan penelitian adalah anak-anak, guru, dan orang tua dari anak-anak tersebut yang aktif membaca Al-Qur'an di TK Islam Pengayoman Kota Tangerang. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Validasinya dengan cara perpanjangan pengamatan, ketekunan pengamatan, triangulasi, Member check analisis kasus negatif, diskusi teman sejawat, dan kecukupan referensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Iqro membantu anak usia dini membaca Al-Qur'an dengan baik. Ini menunjukkan minat yang besar dalam kemampuan membaca huruf Arab dan pemahaman awal tentang makna Al-Qur'an. Kesuksesan metode ini juga bergantung pada keterlibatan orang tua dalam membantu pembelajaran anak-anak.
