Abstract

Learning in the 21st century requires students to have 4C skills (Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, Creativity). 21st century skills are something that students must have through innovative learning from every educator to solve problems to survive in the era of globalization. This research aims to provide an overview of the implementation of the Project Based Learning model based on Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge as a means of mastering students' 21st century skills, especially on the background of implementing the Project Based Learning model based on Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge in ICT learning, planning learning activities, implementation processes learning using a project based learning model based on Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge, as well as students' 21st century skills after implementing a project based learning model based on Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge. The research method used is qualitative with descriptive research type. The informants in this research were the school principal, teachers and grade 6 students. Data was obtained through interviews, observation, documentation. The results of this research show that teachers play an active role in making learning plans that are tailored to take into account the components and conditions of students. The implementation of the project based learning model can show 21st century skills as a whole well in terms of critical thinking skills, creativity skills, collaboration skills and communication skills in various activities, but there are obstacles experienced in the class, namely limited time during learning activities.

Additional Information: Pembelajaran pada abad 21 ini menuntut peserta didik untuk memiliki keterampilan 4C (Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, Creativity). Keterampilan abad 21 menjadi hal yang wajib dimiliki oleh peserta didik melalui inovasi pembelajaran dari setiap pendidik guna menyelesaikan permasalahan untuk bertahan hidup pada era globalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai implementasi model Project Based Learning berbasis Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge sebagai sarana penguasaan keterampilan abad 21 peserta didik khususnya pada latar belakang penerapan model model project based learning berbasis Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge dalam pembelajaran TIK, perencanaan kegiatan pembelajaran, proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model project based learning berbasis Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge, serta keterampilan abad 21 peserta didik setelah diterapkannya model project based learning berbasis Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru dan peserta didik kelas 6. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru berperan aktif dalam membuat perencanaan pembelajaran yang disesuaikan atas pertimbangan komponen dan kondisi peserta didik. Pelaksanaan model project based learning dapat terlihat keterampilan abad 21 secara menyeluruh dengan baik dari aspek keterampilan berpikir kritis, keterampilan kreativitas, keterampilan bekerjasama dan keterampilan berkomunikasi dalam berbagai kegiatan, tetapi terdapat kendala yang dialami di kelas yaitu keterbatasan waktu selama kegiatan pembelajaran.
