Abstract
Childfree is a social phenomenon that is gaining increasing attention, referring to the decision of a couple or individual not to have children. This decision reflects a shift in values and norms in society regarding the concept of family and happiness. Films are not just entertainment. Film is a form of mass media for communication, but film is also a reflection of social reality. Researchers looked at the social reality regarding the existence of Childfree in Indonesia. One of the films that contains elements of Childfree is the film Cek Toko Sebelah 2. This researcher aims to understand the depiction of family values and efforts to resolve Childfree's internal conflict in the film Cek Toko Sebelah 2. Research Analysis Method used is narrative analysis through a qualitative-descriptive approach with data collection documentation and literature study. The results of this research show that the narrative in terms of the Childfree value aspect in couples has mutual openness to each other, understands the partner, so that efforts to resolve internal conflicts can be resolved with the importance of respecting and understanding decisions as part of the diversity of human life choices depicted in the story Cek Toko Sebelah 2 . Through open dialogue and an inclusive approach, communities can develop a better understanding of the dynamics of Childfree and create an environment that supports a variety of life choices.

| Additional Information: | Childfree adalah sebuah fenomena sosial yang semakin mendapatkan perhatian, merujuk pada keputusan pasangan atau individu untuk tidak memiliki anak. Keputusan ini mencerminkan pergeseran nilai dan norma dalam masyarakat terkait konsep keluarga dan kebahagiaan. Film bukan hanya sebagai hiburan semata. Film merupakan salah satu bentuk dari media massa untuk berkomunikasi, tetapi film juga sebagian cerminan realitas sosial. Peneliti melihat realitas sosial mengenai adanya Childfree di Indonesia. Salah satu film yang mengandung unsur Childfree adalah film Cek Toko Sebelah 2. Peneliti ini bertujuan untuk memahami pengambaran nilai keluarga dan upaya penyelesaian konflik internal Childfree dalam film Cek Toko Sebelah 2. Metode Analisis Penelitian yang digunakan analisis naratif melalui pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan naratif dari segi aspek nilai Childfree dalam pasangan memiliki saling keterbukaan satu dengan lainnya, memahami pasangan, sehingga upaya penyelesaian konflik internalpun dapat diselesaikan dengan pentingnya Keterbukaan, menghormati dan memahami keputusan sebagai bagian dari keragaman pilihan hidup manusia digambarkan pada cerita Cek Toko Sebelah 2. Melalui dialog terbuka dan pendekatan yang inklusif, masyarakat dapat mengembangkan pemahaman yang lebih baik terhadap dinamika Childfree dan menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung beragam pilihan kehidupan. | |||||||||
