Abstract

The research entitled "CSR Strategy in the Field of Community Development by PT. PLN Indonesia Power Cilegon PGU" is the result of qualitative research which aims to answer the question of how CSR strategies in the field of community development are carried out by PT. PLN Indonesia Power Cilegon PGU and the social mapping process to determine the CSR program. Through a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, the data presented comes from interviews, observations, as well as documentation regarding CSR strategies and social mapping documents. In the 2000s, the term CSR began to be known in Indonesia with an intensive focus on the concept of community development. As for CSR strategies that incorporate the concept of community development, one of them is social investment which has been widely used by companies, including PT. PLN Indonesia Power Cilegon PGU. The results obtained show that companies determine CSR programs through five stages of social mapping, namely (1) determining targets; (2) identification of typology or socio-structural characteristics; (3) collection of supporting data and information; (4) problem identification and analysis; (5) draw conclusions and evaluate. Social investment is carried out by the company as a CSR strategy by taking inventory of the community around the company with community service and community relations programs and empowering them in various aspects through several programs, such as plasma farmers, Climate Villages, Waste Banks and MSMEs. These three programs are interrelated in maintaining harmony and public trust.

PLN Indonesia Power Cilegon PGU” merupakan hasil penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan menjawab pertanyaan bagaimana strategi CSR di bidang pengembangan masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh PT. PLN Indonesia Power Cilegon PGU dan bagaimana proses pemetaan sosialnya untuk menentukan program CSR. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, data disajikan bersumber dari hasil wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi mengenai strategi CSR dan dokumen pemetaan sosial. Pada tahun 2000-an, istilah CSR mulai dikenal di Indonesia dengan intensif pada konsep pengembangan masyarakat. Adapun strategi CSR yang menyusung konsep pengembangan masyarakat, salah satunya yaitu investasi sosial yang telah banyak digunakan oleh perusahaan, termasuk PT. PLN Indonesia Power Cilegon PGU. Hasil diperoleh bahwa perusahaan menentukan program CSR melalui lima tahapan pemetaan sosial, yaitu (1) menentukan sasaran; (2) identifikasi tipologi atau karakteristik sosio struktural; (3) pengumpulan data dan informasi penunjang; (4) identifikasi dan analisis masalah; (5) menarik kesimpulan dan evaluasi. investasi sosial dilakukan perusahaan sebagai strategi CSR melalui menginventarisir masyarakat sekitar perusahaan dengan program pelayanan masyarakat dan hubungan masyarakat serta memberdayakannya di berbagai aspek melalui beberapa program, seperti peternak plasma, Kampung Iklim, Bank Sampah dan UMKM. Ketiga program tersebut saling berkaitan dalam menjaga keharmonisan dan kepercayaan masyarakat.
