Abstract
This research aims to (1) determine the procrss of economic empowerment of housewives through oyster mushroom businessrs; (2) to determine the methods that have been tried to empower housewives through the oyster mushroom business; (3) determine the inhibitory and supporting efforts in empoweringthe economy of housewives through the oyster mushroom busniess located in Pasarkeong, Cibadak, Lebak, Banten. This research uses qualitative research. Location determination was carries out purposively. Data collection was carried out by observation, inteviews and documentacion. The resource person involved in this research were housewives, business onwers and village officials. This method uses descriptive qualitative because it wants to describe the research object based on the facts that occurred at the research site. The results of this research are that housewives play an important role in empowering them economically and in terms of their potential. With an oyster mushroom cultivation business, housewives can help earn income to meet their daily living needs. The economic empowerment process in oyster mushroom cultivation business strat from seeding and bagloging (mushroom growing media using baglog), mixing stirring and steaming the planting medium, until the oyster mushrooms are ready to be harvested and marketed. The methods precited by the onwer include providing direction, discussions with workers and most importantly providing facilities and infrastructure to support the process of empowering oyster mushroom cultivation.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui proses pemberdayaan ekonomi ibu rumah tangga melalui pengusaha jamur tiram; (2) mengetahui metode-metode yang pernah dicoba untuk memberdayakan ibu rumah tangga melalui usaha jamur tiram; (3) mengetahui upaya penghambat dan pendukung dalam pemberdayaan tersebut. perekonomian ibu rumah tangga melalui usaha jamur tiram yang berlokasi di Pasarkeong, Cibadak, Lebak, Banten. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Penentuan lokasi dilakukan secara purposif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Narasumber yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu rumah tangga, pengusaha dan aparat desa.Metode ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif karena ingin mendeskripsikan objek penelitian berdasarkan fakta yang terjadi di lokasi penelitian.Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ibu rumah tangga mempunyai peranan penting dalam memberdayakan mereka secara ekonomi dan dari segi potensi yang dimiliki, Dengan usaha budidaya jamur tiram, para ibu rumah tangga dapat membantu memperoleh penghasilan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari. Proses pemberdayaan ekonomi dalam usaha budidaya jamur tiram dimulai dari pembibitan dan bagloging (media tanam jamur menggunakan baglog), pencampuran, pengadukan, dan pengukusan media tanam, hingga jamur tiram siap dipanen dan dipasarkan. Cara yang dicetuskan oleh onwer antara lain dengan memberikan arahan, berdiskusi dengan pekerja dan yang terpenting menyediakan sarana dan prasarana untuk menunjang proses pemberdayaan budidaya jamur tiram. | |||||||||
