Abstract

Pteridophyta are cormophyta plants that use spores as their main reproductive tool. Ferns have a reasonably wide distribution pattern and are often found on Mount Aseupan. This research aims to identify Pteridophyta plants on Mount Aseupan, Pandeglang Regency, Banten. The results obtained from identifying Pteridophyta plants will be recommended as a learning resource in accordance with the Kingdom Plantae material for first class of senior high school. This research was conducted in June 2023 using the cruising method. 13 spesies of pteridophyte plants were identified from 9 families including Aspleniaceae, Blechnaceae, Cyatheaceae, Davalliaceae, Gleicheniaceae, Nephrolepidaceae, Polypodiaceae, Pteridaceae, and Selaginellaceae. The Polypodiaceae family has the largest number of members with 3 species, and the Pteridaceae family has 2 species. Recommended learning sources based on literature studies found 3 recommendations, namely booklets, modules and catalogues.

Additional Information: Pteridophyta merupakan tumbuhan kormophyta yang menggunakan spora sebagai alat perkembangbiakan utamanya. Tumbuhan paku memiliki pola penyebaran yang cukup luas dan ditemukan keberadaannya di Gunung Aseupan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tumbuhan Pteridophyta yang ada di Gunung Aseupan Kabupaten Pandeglang Banten. Hasil identifikasi tumbuhan Pteridophyta yang didapatkan akan direkomendasikan sebagai sumber belajar yang sesuai dengan materi kingdom plantae kelas X SMA. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2023 dengan menggunakan metode jelajah. Teridentifikasi 12 jenis tumbuhan pteridophyta yang berasal dari 9 famili diantaranya Aspleniaceae, Blechnaceae, Cyatheaceae, Davalliaceae, Gleicheniaceae, Nephrolepidaceae, Polypodiaceae, Pteridaceae, dan Selaginellaceae. Famili Polypodiaceae memiliki jumlah anggota terbanyak yaitu 3 spesies dan famili Pteridaceae sebanyak 2 spesies. Sumber belajar yang direkomendasikan berdasarkan studi literatur didapatkan 3 rekomendasi yaitu booklet, modul, dan katalog.
