Abstract

The background to this research is based on literature studies and field studies, including the fact that there are still many vocational school students who experience difficulties in technical drawing manually using drawing equipment. Vocational school students still have difficulty understanding the material explained by teachers due to the minimal use of media in learning technical drawing. The ability to draw techniques using AutoCAD is very much needed in the current era, but vocational schools are still not able to utilize it optimally. The process of learning AutoCAD-assisted technical drawing at vocational schools takes quite a long time because it is adjusted based on the academic calendar. This research aims to: (1) Understand the design development process for 3-dimensional technical drawing courses assisted by AutoCAD; (2) Knowing the feasibility of developing a 3-dimensional technical drawing course design assisted by AutoCAD. This research is a type of research and development, referring to the Lee and Owens (2004) model, namely: (1) analysis which includes needs analysis and initial final analysis; (2) design; (3) development; (4)implementation; (5) evaluation. The subjects of this research included 3 media expert, 3 material expert, and course participants. The instruments used in this research were literature study, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the research show that the level of feasibility of developing a three-dimensional technical drawing course design refers to the appropriateness of the media and learning materials (in the form of modules and video tutorials), user responses, and learning outcomes of course participants. Results The results of the evaluation of the feasibility of the learning material obtained an average score of 69.6 with a score range of x ≥ 57.5 in the "very feasible" category. The results of the evaluation of the feasibility of learning media obtained an average score of 63.3 with a score range of x ≥ 54 in the "very feasible" category. User feasibility results get an average score of 64 with a score range of x ≥ 54 in the "very feasible" category. The learning outcomes of course participants received an average score of 92.4 with a conversion scale of 90-100, an "A" predicate, and a "very good" calcification

Additional Information: Adapun yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini yaitu berdasarkan studi pustaka dan studi lapangan diantaranya Masih banyak nya siswa SMK yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menggambar teknik secara manual menggunakan peralatan gambar. Siswa SMK masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi yang dijelaskan oleh guru karena minimnya penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran gambar teknik. Kemampuan menggambar teknik menggunakan autocad sangat dibutuhkan diera sekarang, akan tetapi SMK masih belum dapat memanfaatkannya secara maksimal. Proses pembelajaran gambar teknik berbantuan autocad di SMK membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama karena di sesuaikan berdasarkan kalender akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui proses pengembangan desain kursus gambar teknik 3 dimensi berbantuan autocad; (2) Mengetahui kelayakan pengembangan desain kursus gambar teknik 3 dimensi berbantuan autocad. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development), Dengan mengacu pada model Lee dan Owens (2004) yaitu: (1) analisis yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan dan analisis awal akhir; (2) desain; (3) pengembangan; (4) implementasi; (5) evaluasi. Subjek penelitian ini meiliputi 3 ahli media, 3 ahli materi, dan peserta kursus. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu studi pustaka, wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi.Hasil dari penelitian menujukan bahwa tingkat kelayakan pengembangan desain kursus gambar teknik tiga dimensi merujuk pada kelayakan media dan materi pembelajaran ( Berupa Modul dan Video Tutorial), respon pengguna, dan hasil belajar peserta kursus. Hasil Hasil evaluasi kelayakan materi pembelajaran mendapatkan skor rata-rata 69,6 dengan batas rentang skor skor ≥ 57,5 berada pada kategori “sangat layak”. Hasil evaluasi kelayakan media pembelajaran mendapatkan skor rata-rata 63,3 dengan rentang skor ≥ 54 berada pada kategori “sangat layak”. Hasil kelayakan pengguna mendapatkan skor rata-rata 64 dengan rentang skor ≥ 54 berada pada kategori “sangat layak”. Hasil belajar peserta kursus mendapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 92,4 dengan konversi nilai skala 90-100, predikat “A”, dan mendapatkan klasifikasi “sangat baik”.
