Abstract

An important thing related to fish farming and maintenance is maintaining water quality parameters. The monitoring water quality such as pH and water turbidity by some ornamental fish keepers is still manually so that it is less efficient. Therefore, in this research, the monitoring system of water quality for IoT-based ornamental fish aquariums is made using the fuzzy logic method. The applied of mamdani fuzzy logic is to overcome an uncertainty value to determine water quality with 2 input parameters, namely water pH and water turbidity. The fuzzy logic is used to classify pH and turbidity inputs from water quality that has good, sufficient and dirty conditions. The water quality monitoring system in this ornamental fish aquarium uses Arduino Uno and NodeMCU ESP8266 which are integrated with the blynk IoT application on a smartphone. The monitoring system is to monitor the aquarium water quality. Testing with pH sensors and digital pH meters has an average error of 1.46%. The turbidity sensor can effectively measure water turbidity levels. Testing the fuzzy logic mamdani method on the tool with Matlab, obtained fairly accurate results with an average error of 1.17%.

Additional Information: Hal penting yang berhubungan dengan budidaya dan pemeliharaan ikan adalah menjaga parameter kualitas air. Monitoring kualitas air seperti pH dan kekeruhan air oleh beberapa pemelihara ikan hias masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga hal tersebut kurang efisien. Maka pada penelitian ini dibuat sistem monitoring kualitas air pada akuarium ikan hias berbasis IoT menggunakan metode fuzzy logic. Penggunaan fuzzy logic mamdani diterapkan karena terdapat nilai ketidakpastian untuk menentukan kualitas air yang memiliki 2 parameter input yaitu pH air dan kekeruhan air. Logika fuzzy digunakan untuk mengklasifikasikan input pH dan kekeruhan dari kualitas air yang memiliki kondisi baik, cukup dan kotor. Sistem monitoring kualitas air pada akuarium ikan hias ini menggunakan Arduino Uno dan NodeMCU ESP8266 yang terintegrasi dengan aplikasi blynk IoT pada smartphone. Sistem monitoring tersebut untuk memantau kualitas air akuarium. Pengujian dengan sensor pH dan pH meter digital memiliki rata-rata error sebesar 1,46%. Sensor turbidity dapat secara efektif mengukur tingkat kekeruhan air. Pengujian metode fuzzy logic mamdani pada alat dengan Matlab, diperoleh hasil yang cukup akurat dengan rata-rata error sebesar 1,17%.
