Abstract

Modern architectural design has a high aesthetic value, thus creating a spacious room with long beam spans. The Rumah Buah Karawaci project features a balcony with a cantilever system using pre-stressed beams as a structural solution. The beams have spans of PT-1 = 5.4 m, PT-2 = 4.2 m and PT-3 = 3 m, with limited height due to ceiling leveling requirements. The study investigates the number of tendons required, the amount of prestress loss, and the stress and deflection in prestressed beams. Three types of prestressed beams were analyzed using 3-dimensional structural modeling in ETABS to obtain the forces in each beam. The forces were then analyzed using the stress limit method in accordance with SNI 2847: 2019. This study presents the analysis results that address the problem of the three beams requiring two tendons, with 5, 10, and 7 strands per tendon, respectively. The average prestress loss of the three beams was 16.38%. The stress (σ) and deflection (Δ) that occurred in the prestressed beams under transfer condition for PT-1 (σt=2.203 MPa; σb=-16. 48 MPa; ΔL2=-1.154 mm), PT-2 (σt=- 6.287 MPa; σb=-9.78 MPa; ΔL2=-1.937 mm), and PT-3 (σt=-6.137 MPa; σb=-17.85 MPa; ΔL2=-9.430 mm). Under service conditions, PT-1 (σt=-10.486 MPa; σb=-1.372 MPa; ΔL2=-2.862 mm), PT-2 (σt=-12.892 MPa; σb=-0.427 MPa; ΔL2=-1. 893 mm), and PT-3 (σt=-16.822 MPa; σb=-2.378 MPa; ΔL2=3.841 mm) all meet the permit limit according to SNI 2847: 2019 for stress and deflection. Additional Information: Desain arsitektural modern memiliki nilai estetika yang tinggi, sehingga menciptakan ruangan yang luas dengan bentang balok yang panjang. Pada proyek Rumah Buah Karawaci terdapat balkon dengan sistem kantilever yang memiliki balok dengan bentang PT-1=5,4 m, PT-2=4,2 m, dan PT-3=3 m, dengan ketinggian balok yang dibatasi karena kebutuhan levelling dari plafond. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, direncanakan balok prategang sebagai solusi struktural. Permasalahan yang dikaji yaitu berapa kebutuhan jumlah tendon, berapa kehilangan prategang, tegangan serta lendutan pada balok prategang. Penelitian ini mengkaji tiga tipe balok prategang dengan pemodelan struktur 3-dimensi menggunakan ETABS untuk mendapatkan gaya-dalam tiga buah balok tersebut yang kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode batasan tegangan sesuai dengan SNI 2847:2019. Penelitian ini menyajikan hasil analisis yang menjawab permasalahan tersebut bahwa balok ketiga balok membutuhkan 2 tendon, dengan jumlah strand berturut-turut 5, 10, dan 7 strands per tendon. Kehilangan prategang rata-rata ketiga balok tersebut yaitu 16,38%. Tegangan (σ) dan lendutan (Δ) yang terjadi pada balok prategang kondisi transfer untuk PT-1 (σt=2,203 MPa; σb=-16,48 MPa; ΔL2=-1,154 mm), PT-2 (σt=-6,287 MPa; σb =-9,78 MPa; ΔL2=-1,937 mm), dan PT-3 (σt=-6,137 MPa; σb=-17,85 MPa; ΔL2=-9,430 mm). Sedangkan pada kondisi service untuk PT-1 (σt=-10,486 MPa; σb=-1,372 MPa; ΔL2=-2,862 mm), PT-2 (σt=-12,892 MPa; σb=-0,427 MPa; ΔL2=-1,893 mm), dan PT-3 (σt=-16,822 MPa; σb=-2,378 MPa; ΔL2=3,841 mm).
