Abstract

This research is based on problems that exist in the field, namely at SD Negeri 02 Kendalserut, namely students who have difficulty learning to read at first. Before conducting the research, the researcher first made observations at the school to find out the problems and solutions needed by the school. The researchers found a problem, namely that there were students who still could not read the beginning of the letters of the alphabet and nouns and adjectives correctly. Because of this, researchers create interesting learning media so that students can be more effective and efficient in carrying out initial reading learning. This interactive E-Book Learning media is a learning media that is connected to the internet where the content of this media is also interactive with the aim of enabling children to recognize and learn letters, nouns and adjectives. The research method used in this research uses the SSR method or Single Subject Research with a quantitative approach with research subjects as students who have difficulty reading at the beginning. The data collection technique uses an oral test and the data collection technique uses data analysis between conditions and data analysis within conditions which is expressed in graphs. In the results of this research, the values show that the Interactive E-Book Learning media is able to improve the ability to read the beginning of letters and nouns and adjectives in students who have difficulty reading at the beginning of grade 2. This is proven by the scores from the oral tests carried out showing significant results.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari permasalahan yang ada di lapangan yaitu di SD Negeri 02 Kendalserut yakni pada siswa berkesulitan membaca permulaan. Sebelum dilakukan penelitian, peneliti melakukan observasi terlebih dahulu pada sekolah untuk mengetahui permasalahan serta solusi yang diperlukan oleh sekolah. Adapun peneliti menemukan permasalahan yakni terdapat siswa yang masih belum bisa membaca permulaan pada huruf alphabet dan kata benda serta kata sifat dengan benar. Oleh karena ini, peneliti membuat media pembelajaran yang menarik agar siswa dapat lebih efektif dan efisien dalam melakukan pembelajaran membaca permulaan. Media E – Book Learning interaktif ini merupakan sebuah media pembelajaran yang terhubung dengan internet dimana muatan dari media ini juga bersifat interaktif dengan tujuan agar anak mampu mengenal dan mempelajari huruf dan kata benda serta kata sifat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode SSR atau Single Subject Research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian siswa berkesulitan membaca permulaan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes lisan serta teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan analisis data antar kondisi dan analisis data dalam kondisi yang dituangkan ke dalam grafik. Dalam hasil penelitian ini nilai menunjukkan bahwa media E – Book Learning Interaktif mampu meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan huruf dan kata benda serta kata sifat pada siswa berkesulitan membaca permulaan kelas 2. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya nilai dari tes lisan yang dilakukan menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan.
