Abstract

The use of technology-based learning media can increase students' learning motivation, especially in science subjects. This research and development aims to determine the development process, feasibility and students' responses to the Lectora Inspire learning media material on the form of substances and its changes based on the problem based learning model in class IV at SDN Sindangmandi. This research uses the research and development (R&D) method with the ADDIE research design which consists of 5 stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques in this research used unstructured interviews and observations for needs analysis, product feasibility validation questionnaires for media, material, language experts and response questionnaires for fourth grade elementary school students. This research began by conducting pre-research in January until the implementation process was carried out in October 2023. The research was conducted in class IV at SDN Sindangmandi with a total of 22 students. The validation results from the two media experts obtained an average score of 90% which was in the "Very Appropriate" category. The average score from the two material experts obtained a score of 83% which was in the "Very Decent" category. Meanwhile, the average score from the two linguists obtained a score of 91% which was in the "Very Decent" category. So that the overall validation results from both media, material and language experts obtained an average score of 88% which was in the "Very Decent" category and student responses obtained an average score of 98% which was in the "Very Good" category. So it can be concluded that the Lectora Inspire learning media developed by researchers is very feasible and very good for use in the learning process.

Additional Information: Penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan, kelayakan dan respon peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran lectora inspire materi wujud zat dan perubahannya berbasis model pembelajaran problem based learning di kelas IV SDN Sindangmandi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan desain penelitian ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara dan observasi tidak terstruktur untuk analisis kebutuhan, angket validasi kelayakan produk untuk ahli media, materi, bahasa dan angket respon peserta didik kelas IV SD. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini dimulai dengan melakukan pra penelitian pada bulan Januari hingga proses pengimplementasian yang dilakukan pada bulan Oktober 2023. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas IV SDN Sindangmandi yang dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 22 orang. Hasil validasi dari kedua ahli media memperoleh nilai rata-rata 90% yang berada pada kategori “Sangat Layak”. Nilai rata-rata dari kedua ahli materi memperoleh nilai 83% yang berada pada kategori “Sangat Layak”. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata dari kedua ahli bahasa memperoleh nilai 91% yang berada pada kategori “Sangat Layak”. Sehingga hasil keseluruhan validasi dari kedua ahli media, materi, dan bahasa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 88% yang berada pada kategori “Sangat Layak” dan respons peserta didik memperoleh nilai rata-rata 98% yang berada pada kategori “Sangat Baik”. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran lectora inspire yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti sangat layak dan sangat baik digunakan dalam proses kegiatan pembelajaran.
