Abstract
Plastic is a product that is currently popular among the public. Over time, the use of plastic can harm the environment if plastic waste is simply thrown away. This plastic waste can be degraded into microplastics. The research carried out on milkfish in milkfish ponds of Muncung village Kronjo subdistrict was to look for the abundance of microplastics in milkfish, water and sediment. The location was chosen because it is near residential areas and open water, so it is suspected that there is microplastic in milkfish. The research began in March to July 2023 with 6 station points, 24 milkfish, sediment and water samples. The analysis carried out was looking for abundance in milkfish, organs, water and sediment, then correlating weight with the amount of microplastics and FTIR to look for polymers in plastic. The research results showed that samples of waters, sediments and milkfish organs such as meat, intestines and stomach were contamined with microplastics. The microplastics found were in the form of fragments, fibers and films. Based on observations on organs, the intestine was the organ with the highest abundance of other organs at all stations. The highest abundance in water was found at stations 4 and 6 with a value of 4 particles/mL, while in sediment it was at station 2 until 6 with a value of 1 particles/25g. The results of FTIR test observations found microplastics containing the polymer acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), latex, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polypropylene (PP), ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and nitrile.

Additional Information: | Plastik merupakan produk yang saat ini sedang populer di kalangan masyarakat. Seiring berjalannya waktu, penggunaan plastik dapat membahayakan lingkungan jika sampah plastik dibuang begitu saja. Sampah plastik ini dapat terurai menjadi mikroplastik. Penelitian yang dilakukan pada ikan bandeng di tambak bandeng desa Muncung kecamatan Kronjo untuk mencari kelimpahan mikroplastik pada ikan bandeng, air dan sedimen. Lokasi tersebut dipilih karena dekat pemukiman dan perairan terbuka, sehingga diduga terdapat mikroplastik pada ikan bandeng. Penelitian dimulai pada bulan Maret sampai Juli 2023 dengan jumlah 6 titik stasiun, 24 ekor ikan bandeng, sampel sedimen dan air. Analisis dilakukan untuk mencari kelimpahan pada organ ikan, air dan sedimen, korelasi berat dengan jumlah mikroplastik dan FTIR untuk mencari polimer dalam plastik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sampel air, sedimen dan organ ikan bandeng seperti daging, usus, dan lambung terkontaminasi mikroplastik. Mikroplastik yang ditemukan berbentuk fragmen, fiber, dan film. Berdasarkan pengamatan terhadap organ, usus merupakan organ dengan kelimpahan tertinggi dari organ lain di semua stasiun. Kelimpahan tertinggi sampel air ditemukan pada stasiun 4nitril dan 6 dengan nilai 4 partikel/mL, sedangkan pada sedimen berada pada stasiun 2 sampai 6 dengan nilai 2 partikel/25g. Hasil uji FTIR ditemukan mikroplastik yang mengandung polimer akrilonitril butadiene styrene (ABS), lateks, polivinyl klorida (PVC), polipropilen (PP), etilen vinil asetat (EVA) dan nitril. | |||||||||
