Abstract

This research was conducted against the background of the need for good internet quality and is currently one of the main needs of the community. With the current situation regarding the quality and quantity of the internet that is still not evenly enjoyed by the community. As many as 60% of people today agree that the internet is one of the basic commodities in everyday life. In this research, a mikrostrip antenna is made using the peripheral slits method, to work at a frequency of 1800 - 2400 MHz. mikrostrip antennas will pay attention and be analysed on the parameters of return loss (S-11), VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio), bandwidth, and gain. This research uses engineering research type guidelines based on designing a mikrostrip antenna with a linear process flow model and making antenna designs using CST Studio Suite 2019 software. Testing and data collection is done by simulation and testing using a Vector Network Analyser (VNA). The testandaresults carried out on the design simulation results obtained a return loss value of -13.33639 dB, VSWR of 1.5489645, bandwidth of 30.6 MHz, and gain of 2.35 dBi. In the measurement with Vector Network Analyser (VNA), the return loss is -11.17416818 dB, VSWR is 1.782345338, bandwidth is 24 MHz, and gain is 2.96 dBi.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian keteknikan yang berbasis perancangan sebuah antena mikrostrip dengan model linear process flow dan pembuatan desain antena menggunakan software CST Studio Suite 2019.. Pengujian dan pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara simuasi dan pengujian menggunakan Vector Network Analyzer (VNA). Hasil pengujian yang dilakukan pada simulasi hasil desain mendapatkan nilai return loss sebesar -13.33639 dB, VSWR sebesar 1.5489645, bandwidth sebesar 30.6 MHz, dan gain sebesar 2.35 dBi. Pada pengukuran dengan Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) didapatkan hasil return loss sebesar -11.17416818 dB, VSWR sebesar 1.782345338, bandwidth sebesar 24 MHz, dan gain sebesar 2.96 dBi.
