Abstract

This research is motivated by teachers' demands to be able to use technology-based media, the Magic Card Augmented Reality media which is used in dance learning media, a teacher must be able to use technology as a medium so that learning objectives can be achieved. This also affects students' abilities in basic dance movement skills. The aim of this research is to determine the learning process using Magic Card Augmented Reality and the effect on students' movement skills regarding basic dance movement material. The research method used is a mix method with a nonequivalent control group design that focuses on collecting, analyzing and mixing quantitative and qualitative data in a single or follow-up study. The results of the research found that all question and assessment instruments had been validated with research objectives, pretests were carried out in the control and experimental classes, actions were carried out in the experimental class twice, and post-tests were carried out in the control and experimental classes. The average pretest score for basic dance movement skills in the experimental class was 71 and the average score in the control class was 70. During the post-test the average score in the experimental class was 86.5 and the average score in the control class was 84. Then to find out the effect of using MCAR Hypothesis testing was carried out using a two-sample t test, the t_count result was 2.4 and t_table was 1.7 with a significance level of 5%. Thus, t_count= 2.4 > t_table= 1.7, it is concluded that the use of MCAR has an effect on dance movement skills, so it can be stated that H_(1) is accepted.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tuntutan guru untuk dapat menggunakan media berbasis teknologi, adanya media Magic Card Augmented Reality yang dimanfaatkan dalam media pembelajaran seni tari, seorang guru harus mampu memanfaatkan teknologi sebagai media supaya tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Hal tersebut berpengaruh pula pada kemampuan siswa dalam keterampilan gerak dasar tari. Tujuan penelitian ini guna mengetahui proses pembelajaran menggunakan Magic Card Augmented Reality serta pengaruh terhadap keterampilan gerak siswa mengenai materi gerak dasar tari. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan yaitu mix method dengan desain nonequivalent control group design berfokus pada pengumpulan, penganalisisan, dan pencampuran data kuantitatif dan kualitatif dalam suatu penelitian tunggal atau lanjutan. Hasil penelitian didapati bahwa seluruh instrumen soal dan penilaian sudah tervalidasi dengan tujuan penelitian, dilakukannya pretest pada kelas kontrol dan eksperimen, tindakan pada kelas eksperimen sebanyak dua kali, dan post-test pada kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. nilai rata-rata pretest keterampilan gerak dasar tari pada kelas eksperimen 71 dan nilai rata rata kelas kontrol 70. Pada pelaksanaan post-test nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 86,5 dan nilai rata-rata pada kelas kontrol 84. Kemudian untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penggunaan MCAR dilakukan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t dua sampel, maka didapati hasil t_hitung sebesar 2,4 dan t_tabel sebesar 1,7 dengan taraf signifikasi 5%. Dengan demikian, t_hitung= 2,4 > t_tabel= 1,7, maka disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan MCAR berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan gerak tari, sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa H_(1 )diterima.
